Texas Instruments Back to School Contest Grand Prize

Well, I won the grand prize in the TI contest which according to the official rules was supposed to include a calculator of my choice, various school supplies, and a $100 visa gift card. I received the package today and no gift card... Has this ever happened to anyone before? I planned to send an email to see if it was a mistake or alert them in case they have a thief in the shipping department. My brother had the exact calculator stolen from him in class last year, so he'll be happy to have a new one. I don't want to seem ungrateful... but that's never happened to me before. Can they just decide not to give you part of the prize if its in the official rules? Thanks Happy Winning Everyone. Love you guys and gals.

Yes, it does happen - they may have shipped the Visa card separate. I've won a grand prize where I was getting stuff from different suppliers - it took a good month to get all the items from the package. Congrats BTW.

Contact them...it happens! I got a kayak once 4 months after I was supposed to because they forgot! LOL Congrats!

Congrats on your win. I once won a gift card and the congrats letter came but no gift card came. I just emailed the sponsor and they resent it.
