Hello SA Members,

This past year has been difficult for everyone and we've lost many sponsors
that will likely not return. Too keep up with the expense of running SA we had
to be very creative.

Our latest creation is a Premium version of Sweepstakes Advantage called
"Sweepstakes Plus" . Sweepstakes Plus is an Ad Free version of SA ( No Google
Banner Ads in the pages ) . Sweepstakes Plus will also be an advanced directory
with added sweepstakes tools and resources not found on SA.

The first change is a newly constructed My Sweepstakes. The My Sweepstakes on
Sweepstakes Plus will allow you to create your own custom My Sweepstakes Category
and then add any sweepstakes you choose to that custom list.

For instance. If you have some sweepstakes that you want to enter on Friday only you
can create a new my sweepstakes category called "Friday" and add those sweepstakes
to that new my Sweepstakes List.

Another example would be sweepstakes that have big prizes. Create a new my sweepstakes
category called Big Prizes and use that. The creativity to categorize your sweepstakes the way
you want is up to you.

Existing SA members can upgrade their account by navigating to the main page and clicking the
"Account" link in the Members Login section near the top of the page. Select Sweepstakes Plus
Annual membership from the drop down menu & click the Order button. You'll be asked to accept
the terms and then taken to paypal for payment processing. After you make your payment you
should be taken to www.sweepstakesplus.com.

We've been working on Sweepstakes Plus for the past 2 months trying to get everything worked
out. If you encounter any problems please don't hesitate to contact us using the form on the
website.

Thank you for sharing in this exciting venture!

-Ken & Diane

Finally! Very cool! Far out! Groovy! As soon as I can scrounge up $30 I will do it!

Is paypal the only option we have for paying? Because I have never used it, don't have a credit card, and have no clue how it works. Other options would be nice.

I noticed that Rita signed up for it .... but now her post count is "2". (Poor Rita)

Another thing I've noticed for the last few months is some folks have:

"aMember user"

What is the scoop with that?

Re: Rita's post count

[blushing smiley]

I messed up when I signed up...there is now an arrtup3 and a beta launch member arrtup (with a post count of 2).

Some people* need to learn how to follow instructions! Or drink coffee before making major life changes!

*that would be me

Followed up with Rita and she is all set.

As for other payment options. You can mail us a check or money order for the $30 annual fee.

Payable to: Sweepstakes Advantage

Mail to: Sweepstakes Advantage, 2965 Dana Lane Kissimmee FL 34744

In the memo field write the name of the account you want to upgrade.

* Also include your current email address so that we can contact you when
your account is upgraded.

Let us know if there are any other questions.

Thank you,

-Ken

I unfortunately live on a small social security check as I am now disabled  so I would not be able to pay an extra $30 in a lump sum out of my check...(is that ea. mos. or yearly?) But I would be more than happy to help w/a small donation from my paypal acct. if that helps... I know that I have made extra money and prizes since I became a SA member years ago, it helps w/ occupying my time and it is fun and I like the SA family...... even though this last yr was my worst ever as far as winning much of anything susbstantial every little bit helps, be it a $5.00 g/c or $100.00 g/c... both of which I won this yr. thru SA...... I also hit for a $500 g/c 2 yrs back..so I am always hopeful esp. when I c others winning big time here...... So if u r struggling w/making ends meet in re: to SA operations, maybe some of us (like myself) would be able to and/or willing to to kick in a few dollars here and there. I mean a donation w/out expecting anything in return. What do you think?

Hi,

I think the Sweepstakes Plus membership should more than pay for itself if
you use the tools. The pages load faster because there are no google ads
and this will speed up your sweepstakes entry. The Custom My Sweepstakes
feature is the only one like it on the Internet. I know other members have
paid for programs like Sweeps List to manage their sweepstakes lists in the
same way. Sweeps List and others are however programs that you have to
install and the sweepstakes you have upload or type in yourself.

If you are on a strict budget I would consider just saving up for the annual fee of $30.

There are quite a few more planned features that will be added to Sweepstakes
Plus that will also increase your accuracy and odds of winnng online sweepstakes.

Current members can upgrade from here:

Or create a new account at http://www.sweepstakesplus.com

Thank You,

-Ken

I'll be glad to support SA and will sign up on Friday when I get paid. I've always been impressed with this site (I've used it for almost 4 years!) and the fact that it was free. I like the sound of where the features are headed without being a "pay to enter" service. Thanks Ken and Diane for all your hard work and still maintaining a free site. I know it's often hard (if not impossible) for sites to move from free to paid but it sounds like you guys are going about it the right way. I'm so excited for SA's future and excited to continue this hobby and see what surprises it has in store for me.

Paypal can do Visa Debit Cards or can directly withdraw from you bank account (you just provide the same routing number from the bottom of your checks). Paypal itself is reliable and trustworthy and I've used it for almost 10 years. I believe it's now owned by Ebay. That being said many scams are centered around paypal (spoof sites/emails) so you do need to be cautious. But the real site is legitimate and as safe (or more safe) as any other shopping site.

Two features I would like to see added is to somehow have what is considered the start time of a new day on the dailies, and to identify which sweeps state that p.o. boxes are not accepted. I know that all of this is in the rules, but it would take a lot of time to read all the rules of hundreds of sweeps a week. These are two features I would be willing to pay a premium for.

Hi,

Do you mean the actual "starting date" of the sweepstakes? If you do we are planning to add this. On the P.O. box thing, I didn't think there were that
many sweepstakes that didn't allow P.O. boxes?

Thanks,

-Ken

No, on the start time on dailies I mean when does a new day start? Most reset at midnight eastern time, but some are noon, 5:00 pm, etc. When I enter at different times such as late at night one day and early in the morning I don't want to disqualify myself by entering twice in one 'day'.

There are several that state no p.o. boxes, not sure how quick they would disqualify for listing a p.o. box, but I try not to put my mailing address on these just in case. I think most eprize sweeps and a few others.

I know these are probably sort of odd requests and not many people would care about these features but they are the two things that come to mind that I would like to see.

OK, thanks for letting us know about these. The Sweepstakes Plus site will be where we will be relasing features like this. We'll add this to our list of new features to implement. Also, for a limited time we will be giving away a keyboard sweeper to all new plus site members! http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/upgrade.html

I just signed up! I think it is well worth it and you do a great job, work hard to make SA really enjoyable. Thanks!

OK, I just signed up but now I can't get into the forum. When I click on the link for the forum it takes me there as a guest. But it won't let me sign in.

This sounds really great. For some time now I have seriously slacked off of entering sweeps. I just have not been in the mood to enter. I guess after 3 years of entering every day I wanted a break. Course my other problem could be hanging out at FB too much

I'm sure I'll get motivated soon enough and when I do I'll signup for this great addition to SA. I know Ken and Diane work really hard at this site to keep it the best sweeps site out there. Thank you guys for all that you do.

One more important update to Sweepstakes Plus. We have made the Plus membership a 3 Day Free Trial. This way you can check out the new Custom My Sweepstakes for yourself!

Being able to create custom categories and move sweepstakes around any way you wish will be an invaluble tool for any serious sweepstakes hobbyist. And also don't forget NO BANNER ADS. :headbang:
