This is a hot topic, so maybe more threads will be started, but for now, we are all here!
 
Sorry-did not realize there was already a thread--but probably should have known! Thanks for merging. I have stopped entering all magazine sweeps and have deleted them from my bookmarks.
 
Just want to add my own two cents. Some sweepstakes are going to be more annoying to enter than others; but they are still offering lots of prizes for little effort. Watching a 30 second video for an entry is fine when you do it once, but if you're entering more than once, it gets tedious. I thank you to all who have quit entering these, because my odds have skyrocketed and I have won twice in a two week span.

With these and other sweeps, I try to multi-task with something that is fun. Especially for the creative presentation sweeps. I enter those while participating in a twitter party, or I listen to audio books while entering. Makes me feel like I'm reading, when I'm not ha!

Just try to have fun with it! The ads do help them continue running contests, so be happy for them.

Most of these magazine sweeps are unlimited entry apparently, so I can't imagine how anyone could possibly expect to win. Not to mention they are so annoying, having to watch the stupid videos every time.
