Start up UPS Alert

I see so many posts where people say they receive a UPS Alert when a package is coming, how many pounds it weighs, who and where it's coming from, date to expect it, etc. How do you get these alerts??? I think that would be such a great idea, since I usually don't respond to knocks on my door, though when I get something from the regular driver, he knows to knock once, and leave it between my two doors, or on top step, or give to next-door neighbor if it has to be signed for.
