Roboform thread

If these insurance companies would just pay the MRI cost of $800+ up front, think of how many deaths could be prevented and money saved. For some, reason they seem to think that spending all this money first on doctors, x-rays, physical therapy is saving them money. Am I missing something? :crazytongue: I just whatever it is popped out to the right of my spine fixed and fixed now. Because of that, I'm using my body differently and also knee problems started from the extra stress being put on them. I'd really like to know who are running these insurance companies!!! :cussing:

Good news on the computer front: I got my 1mb ram upgrade card yesterday, and was able to install it myself. Robo works a lot faster, and I found myself wondering what to do with myself after I got all the sweeps out of the way. I'm used to being bogged down entering.

More time for things I need to do. That's why I bought the laptop to use Robo. Now I just have to DO them.

YAY sweepy!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

We always forget to mention that our computers need to be able to handle whatever prog (ie: robo) to benefit from it, as your post amply demonstrates!

FYI for anyone following this thread:

Ideally, the faster the comp + the faster the service (dsl, cable as opposed to dial-up) + the fewer the progs = the faster we are able to enter.

Being off on one slows it all down :nono:

That's why it's good to do speed tests to ensure you are getting the level of service you are paying for, to clear temp files and cookies frequently, and defragmenting.

Check out this thread for free progs to help you run your comp safer and faster:

What I really wish Robo would do in the next update:

Load the pages.
Fill the pages.
Submit automatically.
Close the pages.

It would truly be a macro for entering, and probably against the rules. Still, I'd love it.

It already does the first three, but I don't understand why you would want it to close the page. I keep four windows open at all times and go up and down them (on sweeps that take a couple of seconds longer to submit) and keep clicking down the list of passcards. You have to have a window open to sweep.

Even if it did all four, it would still not be a macro.

I meant they would autofill when they're loaded with no further action on the user's part.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "when they're loaded". With the exception of some like flash and security codes, I just click on the passcard and that's it. I don't have to do anything else. Roboform goes to the webpage, fills in the form, and submits it all on its own.

I tried it your way, and it did fill and submit. Before, I was using the passcard edit, and it would only fill but not submit. I will tinker with your method next time and see what's best.

Auto-closing the tabs would make it go even faster. That's what I meant. Closing tabs after submitting.

I still don't understand "closing tabs". If you mean closing the window, you still would need it open to go to the next sweep. Letting Roboform enter the sweeps on its own is the fastest way to enter them. Everyone I taught over at the other place to use it correctly stopped using "MySweeps" and that other program, because they all found it went faster to enter the sweeps by just using Roboform.

Tomorrow I'm going to give your method a shot, letting it load, fill and submit without my interference. I keep a folder of sweeps that are suitable for this kind of entry. Another folder has sweeps that need codes, etc.

What I meant was, it could close the tab or window after it submits, but this feature isn't available. I was just thinking it would be nice.

You really love Robo I see. If it was alive you'd marry it. tee-hee

Unfortunately, I can't see what you're doing. So, it's hard for me to understand what you mean by closing the window/tab. You don't actually want the whole window to close, do you?

Just as an example, I can do 30+ Classic Heartland's in under a minute just staying in the same open window and clicking on them one after the other.

Robo is driving me crazy. I want to enter your way for a change, but I have no toolbar logins menu. When I click toolbar, I get a menu to edit a passcard, or a new passcard. I'm looking at the manual, but I don't see how I can get the toolbar menu to appear.

It would be so easy for me to straighten it out if I were at your computer. Go to "Roboform", "Options", "Toolbars", and make sure you have something like upper toolbar checked first.

Maybe when I get my Wendy's hamburger card win I'll drive out to your area, you can play with my laptop and I'll buy you lunch. Would you like that?

I just wanted to say Thank you LIDARKSIDE for all your help with robo questions. I wouldnt have figured out how to use it best without ya.
