The Report Problem now requires my name and email address.

I don't remember this format prior to the recent changes at SA.

Why the change?

I'm pretty sure it was that way before - I reported problems often and always used Roboform to fill in my name and email address.
 
I've been reporting problems for years and don't remember my name and email as being part of the process. I seem to remember completing a form that had no personally identifiable information. I might miss something like that a time or two, but eventually I'd notice. There's an expectation of anonymity on sites like this, otherwise why use a log-in? We'd all just use our real names.

In any event, I won't be reporting any more problems until it's changed.

1} Yes, was always there and
2} Leave that part blank if you choose & report the sweeps so I don't have to expend time/energy tracking back to it and
3} Please recall that this site is provided for free, thanks!

Ah, those fields used to be below the "If Other - Please Describe Problem." box, that's why you probably never noticed! Did you try submitting w/out your info?

Please refer to the last sentence of my original post.

I just tried to report it as you suggested by leaving the personal info blank - it won't send unless I complete the blank fields.

I must have been senile for the last 10 years, as I never noticed these fields. Curmudgeon perhaps, but never my real name & email.

Huh, Ken must have *just* changed it because I saw reports with no contact info!

btw - that contact info is the only way we can contact you if needed & yes, I have had to in the past to get more info - the report form cuts off and it's not always clear what the issue is!
 
I just went to this sweep in the dailies - 34. Mullinax Half-Millionth Celebration Giveaway - and it still shows one per person. Correct is one per household.
 
I can use Report Problem w/out my info - have you tried again curmudgeon?

I just tried and it won't work.

If I leave it blank, it say please fill out this field. If I put in na it says "Invalid email address pattern"

If I put curmudgeon for name and na for email I get the "invalid email address pattern" or please fill out this field if I leave email address blank.

I just logged in with your account and used the Report Problem feature and it works perfectly. The name and email address fields are pre-filled with your
name and email address on the Report Problem form. ( they cannot be left blank ) I am using Google Chrome in my test. Why do you want to leave it blank?
This information is necessary so that we can contact you if needed about the problem that gets submitted.
