Well, they went under suddenly a few weeks ago. Apparently the guy quickly decided he wanted to retire, and that those of us who are owed refunds will get them in alphabetical order in the next week.
Then after about 15 days, I sent an email asking about the refund.

Today, this showed up in my email:

(The top portion is his answer to what I asked him in the bottom portion.


I emailed Mark, and this is what I got back:

You are kidding me right? I am 3 days away from leaving. I have some other things that are a little more pressing right now. Please do not continue to ask for the refunds.

Well folks, basically what I gather with this response is we are screwed, so if you have any refund due from this guy...I would not expect it.
 
Yeah, that really bites when someone promises to do something then just blows it off, huh? :nono:

I agree they just keep you hanging waitingfor something they promised.

Sorry to hear about the problems tinymomo I wish you could have goten the refund
 
People doing other people dirty is a terrible thing ~ but how can you fix it? It seems like the more you try to address the problem the more of a headache you get. You don't get anything done and then they just pop back up to give you more headaches later. Sometimes it is just easier to forget it :cussing:
 
Well, according to his email, he is leaving the country tomorrow...and likely we will never see our refunds.

Well...live and learn!
 
They don't sound any better than the piece of crap :cussing: site you belong to tiny..... (ZZZ)..... They're the same when it comes to getting your "due" refund back.

Please remember that although we try not to censor discussions, we do ask that you please try not to post negative things about other sites here at SA.

Many of you may have legitimate complaints regarding another site, but unfortunately, when something gets posted here, about another site, it leads to their members coming here and registering to start problems and then the battle gets started.

We have it really great here. The members here are great. Don't let your anger of the past make you become what you were accused of being. You are all better than that and we all know it.

Plus, their active members are all over SA looking for referrals, votes and winzy points. So, bashing another site on here is just really asking for a fight. I myself appreciate the lack of nastiness which is so pervasive on other forums.

Let them have it. And, Champagne, to answer your question in another thread, be thankful you were banned from another site. Because of that we found SA. Best prize I ever won! :sunny:
