hello. I just recently opened up an ebay store and I was wondering if I can post a link to the store in the trading or selling section? General section. thanks.

I would think it could go in Trade and Sell ~ other people have posted links in there. Erin use to post links to her bear auctions all the time ~ I don't see that it is a problem.

You want to run this by Admin. Please send them an e-mail by going to the homepage and using the contact us link.

Best of luck to you in your new business. I hope it is a huge success! :headbang:

I have so often said: I should sell that on ebay. But i never follow thru because I am a little afraid that I couldn't figure out how to do it. I will be anxious to hear how it is working out for you with your ebay store. Let me know if it is more trouble than it's worth or if it's pretty fun. I love ebay. You used to could find good bargains but not so much now. It's just a fun way to get stuff that you are going to get anyway. I'll check out your store

As suggested, ask Ken / the admin.

Personally, I'd think listing a link to store in Trading and Sell forum would be fine, given past precendent. Having said that, a single thread would quickly roll off the page and would never be seen again. Is that the best thing to do? People would quickly get annoyed if you posted weekly to thread to say nothing more than 'I'm still here' or some such just to move thread to first page again. Not being a bear person, I never really cared for Erin's threads, though did click on the single auction link once in a while. With a store... its not like you should post a different thread for each item in store.

One thing a little more "in your face" is to add a link to store in your Profile, kinda like the Winzy thing I have. As you post frequently enough, would probably get folks to click on it to see what's up there.

Can also advertise on the site via banner ads. Might get a good deal...

Not knowing what your store is for, I'd question if people here would be interested or if some other place would be better. You've been around here long enough to judge that.

Good luck.
