question for all sweepers

I'm wondering how many are out there that don't win big ticket items or if it's just me! I just read on the winners circle the 2nd person in a week who has won four trips already this year! I am glad for them but I am getting very frustrated! I have been entering 300-400 sweeps daily for over 3 years and the only "big" thing I have won is a WII. I am doing everything right to enter but I cant seem to win! Is it me or are there more of you out there?

 I haven't ever gone 3 years without winning something big, but I did have a year where I didn't have to file taxes on anything big. Then the following year I had 4 big wins. The longer you stick with it the better your chances. What you aren't seeing is how many did that person enter to get those wins. One thing for sure you won't win anything if you don't enter. I find that thinking positive, being patient, persistant and consistant works for me.
In the meantime I blowing some good luck to you in hopes that you get a big win soon.

It took me 6 years until I won a biggie {$10,000 GP} and I noticed that it's kind of a "like for like" phenomenon - those who win big, *usually* win big a lot, and it's really tough to be one of those people. I always chuckle when I see one of them post a "geez, it's already July and I haven't won a biggie" whine. Perspective.

The way I look at it? It's so completely out of our control, it's pointless to focus on anything but what we can control - like how/when/why we enter.

It's why I came to the sweepers credo, and posted this thread:

thanks for responding to my question/whine! I keep plugging away, following all the rules and hoping for a bigger win than I have had! Good luck to you all and happy sweeping!

I hear ya, kittylou. I've been sweeping for years and like you, the biggest thing I've ever won is a Wii. I know you have to be patient and persistant, which I am, but when you enter sweepstakes every single day and all you have to show for it is a Wii it can be pretty aggravating. It does seem like it's the same people winning all the time (like the sweeper who her 4th trip!) Like you said, we should be happy for them but I keep thinking, "When is it my turn?" I enter just as many sweepstakes as other people and still, nothing. I guess we'll just have to keep plugging away, kittylou. Good luck to you and hopefully we will win something big in the near future.

This is a good topic, I too have been sweeping for years (10) and my biggest win was $500 last year. Not a big sweep, but I would have liked to win the Cheerios sweep, but looks like free cereal for a year is not happening for me. Them's the breaks.

We all know to keep entering, the more you enter the better your chances, change times, etc., and are happy for those that win, yet you can't help wanting your turn also. Especially when people win large prizes many times. Is the secret entering in the middle of the night - if you work a daytime job, that's hard to do unless you are having a sleepless night.

Years ago Oprah had a show on sweepers and one woman said she won so often she was in the same tax category as Oprah. Who knows if that was true - but it sure would be nice to win a nice sum of money or a car.

Yes, it is kind of nauseating seeing some people win multiple big wins that quick. I'm happy for them, but geez. Lol What did I do wrong in a past life to have such little luck? :) I'll keep plugging away for now...

Sometimes you have to keep it in perspective. For every one person who wins a grand prize, there are 10,000 (or 100,000...) who don't!

Thanks for everyone's input and encouraging responses! I just read another post today by Nevol who was asking the same question as me. there are some very interesting inputs on that thread too. Good luck to all and happy sweeping!
