Hello, I have a question about posting a comment on a blog. Now some of them have you put in your name and your email (which isn't shown), and that's easy enough. But my question is about the others. If I post a message, and then use my google blogger account , do I still have to leave my email address in my post? Or does the website have a way to retrieve my email address from my goggle blogger log in? I hope this makes sense :scratch:

I've won several of these and just use my google account and they notify me at my google address. The blog owner can see your address, as I understand it. If this is wrong, hopefully someone will inform me :scratch:
OK, it sounds like using my google blogger is fine then. I was wondering because I have won several blog contests where I actually put my name and address in the post, and have only started using a google blogger. Except my google login doesn't use my google email address, it uses my comcast.net address, that shouldn't matter should it?

If you are using the blogger thing you need to make sure you have "Show my email address" in your profile checked. If you dont they wont be able to contact you. If its checked when they click on your name it takes them to your profile and then they click on email.. if you dont have as show it wont work.

You only have to check it in your blogger profile. When someone clicks on your name and your profile pops up they click on view, then email and it will go to their email and put yours in so they can contact you. If you have it unchecked in your blogger profile they cant contact you. Just go to your blogger account and check. I didnt do that until I had entered a bunch. :laughing:
