Question about blog contests

I am new to sweepstakes and I have a question about the blog contests. I signed up for a google blog account just for the purpose of entering sweeps. I never really know whether I should still put my email in the entry when I sign in under my google ID or not. Can the person hosting the sweep get my email easily from the google ID??

if when you click on post a comment a different screen comes up with a little box for you to type in and a verification code then you dont need to put in your email.. they can just click on your name and it takes them to your blog page.. make sure you have your email on public in your blog thing or they wont be able to see it to let you know if you won.
