prizes dvd/blu ray

I don't like some of these sweeps giving out blu rays now instead of regular dvds. I love my dvds, and can't afford the blu ray stuff. Do you think all the sweeps will eventually be for blurays? It seems like alot more of them are doing it. :scratch:

I don't know. I haven't won a Blue ray yet. I don't have a blue ray player either.

Do you remember years ago, like in the early 90's, DVD's were the size of an actual large Record? they weren't a big hit, so they revised them and made them what they are today.

I won a blu ray dvd (walk hard) and gave it to my friend because I didn't have a blu ray player.

I don't have a blu ray player, those machines are expensive! I think I will stick to DVD and if I win any I will just trade it for a DVD or something.

Many Star Wars collectors still actively seek out those big discs, because they have special features that have not been released on any other format. My friend Ken has those, and the player. They are huge!

They were called laser discs and they are very collectible now.

Blu Ray will take over. DVD players are being phased out by most manufacturers. Many new blu ray player do play DVDs of course, but the quality of blu ray is better.

That is provided you have an HDTV.... If you still have a standard TV, I can't see how BluRay can be better.

I have read this exact statement in newspapers and on various websites and have been told this by a couple of people who sell electronics. No opinion as of yet.
