Prize winner in the Rumba Meats

Congratulations! You have been selected as a prize winner in the Rumba® Meats Warmth of Home
Sweepstakes, subject to verification of your eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules (copy enclosed)

I was one of 101 winners. There are 100 $500 prizes and 1 $5,000 prize. The prize department said that they can not tell me whether I won the 500 or the 5000 until i send in the affadavit. But I thought that if your prize was under $600 you didnt have to send in a affadavit?
 
:sunny: Congratulations on your win! They can send out an affy for any amount. I have received affys for prizes valued at less than $20. Be sure to update us when you find out! $5000 would buy alot of meat!

Congrats - as far as an affadavit, well, technically what I had to fill out was not notarized so was not an affadavit, but it was a 2-page form I had to fill out and fax or mail back in order to receive the grand total of - get this - FOUR DOLLARS from the "I am Number Four" IWG. :scratch:

Sweepstakes Prize Selection and Verification of Potential Winners: All selected potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and all winnings are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Administrator is an independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. There will be one-hundred and one (101) computer-generated winners during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning a Sweepstakes prize depend on the number of prizes available divided by the number of eligible Sweepstakes entries. Any potential winner who entered via text messaging will be notified by phone and/or text message at the phone number of the text-messaging device used to enter the Sweepstakes. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to return fulfillment forms and affidavit within ten (10) business days of first attempted notification, potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of a prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the applicable prize will remain un-awarded. Prizes will be fulfilled by April 15, 2011.
 
Please let us know when you find out. I won $500 GC from Kansas City Steak Company, but didn't have to get anything notarized. I bet you won the biggie!! So happy for you!! :cheers:
