Prize came broken

Ok so I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right area. I need some advice. One of the prizes I won arrived last week and I was so excited. It was a tart warmer and tarts from Bella Mia Gourmet candles. I threw out the box and all the paper work. Yesterday I went to use the tart warmer only to sadly discover that it is not working. So do I just suck it up and toss the warmer and keep the tarts or do you think I should contact the company and let them know? I am hesitant since it was a free item. I'm leaning more towards just not worrying about it and not bothering to let them know. This one was a surprise win since I never received an email from them.

If you have their contact information, you may want to try contacting them. You have nothing to lose, and if you thank them and then let them know nicely that it is broken, they may replace it.

THIS - also, they may have an issue with whomever is fulfilling for them & can't know unless people tell them!
