Hi,
I have just recently started to try the mail in entries for those sweeps that require no purchase (or they either allow a purchase I'm not interested in, or a mail-in entry).
I've come across my first "postcard" entry sweep, and it has me a bit worried.
Do you all really write down your email addresses, and your birth dates on postcards? Since anyone can see that personal, private information, I worry someone might steal my identity, or use the email address to load me up with spam.
Is this something I need to worry about or not? The contest I'm interested in doing allows me to mail in as many postcards as I want to, so I'd want to do a lot.
I'd really appreciate any help on this. Is it safe?
Thanks!
