Post Your Questions Here!!

Hi people, I've only just signed up because I saw that this site allowed us to ask for vote requests? It's a shame that I cannot post my request until 2 weeks of activity on my account, I didn't know this before I signed up. So is there any other faster way I can post, or is this a lost cause?

Thanks for reading the rules before posting a voting thread. The 2 week waiting period is firm. The reason for this is that many people have joined just to post a vote request and use our members for their own gain. In the meantime feel free to come in and look around and vote for the members that have already posted their vote requests. The 2 weeks will be up before you know it and the voting members will have already seen that you do vote for others.

Hi, I haven't been to the forum in a while, and I'm never quite sure the best specific place to post questions. I'm planning to upgrade to Sweeps Plus very soon but I'd like to ensure that it will work (mostly) correctly on a Mac. I typically use Safari, but am familiar with FireFox and Chrome; I'd prefer to use Safari if possible. I currently use the site mostly to find sweeps to enter and to look at the winner's circle and I typically bookmark sweeps rather than using the save/pop features you offer, so I don't know if the free tools work on Safari either. I did a search on the forum and looked at quite a few posts, but can't find out about Safari and Sweeps Plus. Thank you, as always, for this site and your advice.

bonniesawinner - walnutfarm is a PLUS member & uses a MAC;

yes, happend to me on several on mine as well.
on mac, google chrome

AFAIK, yes to MAC, no to SAFARI, but I'm asking Ken {admin} for confirmation

As far as where to post? I probably would have used the CONTACT US form but this thread was a good choice for a site question/issue, since the resolution will get posted here & will help others in the future!

Okay, bummer. Thank you for verifying, though. I guess I'll have to try going back to Firefox or trying Chrome if I want to try Plus. Thank you for this site.

Okay, for me it is 9:58PM right now. I live in Harrisburg, PA. When I made a comment, it says I made the comment at 1:53AM. Huge difference. Can someone please explain? Thanks.

Wow I've really messed up already. Posted a question in the wrong thread hehe. Sorry for any trouble. Was just curious, if there is any particular procedure for posting a sweepstakes? Thanks in advance. Don't want to cause any trouble :)

Question on Autofill

Question about Autofill of forms. I use google chrome and it fills in most my information. Will this disqualify me my entry. Just unsure. Please advise. Thanks

I have used chrome autofill for years and win quite often. Don't be afraid to use it.

Re: Question on Autofill

Autofill is [usually - see rules] allowed

We discuss robo here but this applies

https://www.sweepsadvantage.com/forum/tech-computer-help/61-roboform-links-q.html

Roboform

It's a form filler, nothing more. Most sponsors get that and don't consider robo "automatic entry" - they are referring to "bots" or programs that enter FOR you.

lwaxana:

A "bot" is an automated program that can be used for manipulating numerous email addresses, often for purposes of fraud. Sometimes cheaters write scripts that enter contests multiple times using many different email addresses for one person. The existence of bots is one reason why so many sweepstakes sites use "Captcha" code (words, letters, or numbers that you have to type in), so that they can make it difficult for non-humans to enter.

However, some do say it is a macro, and therefore not allowed. Every person has to make the decision for themselves on whether or not to use Robo.
