I supposedly won a sweepstakes of $100 from Kappa Publishing Group, but the catch is I need to supply my social security number. I'm not liking sending me SS number at all.

Is this legit in asking for it?

As to the SSN? Could be that they use the same form as for the $1000 winners - ask if you *have* to give your SSN
