I thought you were talking about the blog entries. Sorry about that. I don't think we could do that because these
sites want you to visit them (view their site). If we coded a mailto: link for each one of these you would never actually visit their site. Eventually we would probably get banned from listing their promotions if we did this.

Not that I know of. :scratch: As far as I can see, I would have to save each web page to Roboform. Then each time I went to enter, click on each individual passcard, go to the web page, then click on the email link, fill out the required "subject", and "send".

I do like to enter the daily "Week In Rewind" ones; but, as it stands now, I go elsewhere, pull them all up in a search, and go through the ones I want to enter by clicking on "entry form" and sending the email. I don't have to do anything else, and it's very quick and simple; all the above work is already done for me.

Dear GTB's*,

I've noticed (to my anguish ) that there is no section for topics about the actual forum site here. So, I will post this here.

(I guess that making that section would be my first suggestion! :laughing: )

But my real idea is to have a link for "Show NEW Topics" put up in the upper left of our page right along with the "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts" links.

There seems to be ample room in the format to insert that link.

This probably would be of real use to a lot of users here. If it was there I could daily check ONLY the new ORIGINAL posts since my last visit. That way I could make sure I can catch all the new and exciting posts each day. It would enable us to skip through posts that are just 35 "congrats" posts.

I do enjoy reading the "congrats" sometimes, but at other times it would be nice to skip to just new posts to make sure I catch all the new ones without spending an hour wading through ones I've already seen. No point wasting time that can be used for entering Sweeps, eh?

(As one might notice, by my only 189 posts in 18 months, that I don't do a lot of "congrat" posts unless something "trips my trigger". I figure that at that rate I have only 86 months left before I get my 4th gold star!!! :laughing: )

Maybe the GTB's might find it in their hearts to do that for us, their humble servants! :laughing:

Just knocking this out once again! On the "home page" this is done as a "winner teaser" ... so I know that it can be done here. The "cut and paste queens" are drivng me NUTS!

(every 9 months ... hmmm ... it must be a 'pregnant' topic with me)

Another item would be to make our preferences "sticky" from day to day and show the "comments" count area when we are using "My Sweeps" section at other than it's default settings.

I am having a deja vu type moment. But, I'm going to ask anyway. Is it possible to change the personal note feature so that it is accessible from the new sweeps page. That way we could add a note on day one as opposed to trying to remember to post the note the next time I come to it. Could it be tied in with sweepscheck or something?

I hadn't noticed this, but another member just pointed it out to me. The forum header "Fun and Games" lists mostly threads whereas the topics have nothing to do with fun and games. Maybe, separate those into something like a header for "General Topics"? :scratch:
