Please sponsors NO sweepstakes on Facebook!!!

Every time I scroll through the new sweepstakes I see so many, countless in fact, great sweepstakes to enter. But, these sweepstakes are of no benefit to me, and I know of other people too that do not have facebook.

How are we sweepers supposed to make it with so very many contests and such-- like sweepstakes on facebook.

Yes, I understand you want facebook fans :confused: , but come on now......It puzzles me greatly why the need for facebook sweeps especially when so many would gladly enter if not that it was on facebook. I mean wow....especially the larger sponsors and the like should reconsider.

Well, this is just a heads up/ but mainly just simply ***a suggestion*** I'd say!!!... to sponsors who may visit sweepstaking sites for one reason or another...you are not reaching your full market of individuals/ customers because not everyone has facebook!... Also, alot of people may get banned from Facebook just from too many ''likes''...keep it in mind if you run a sweeps and happen upon this message for all of us. Also, I would gladly buy products for sweepstakes too, but how can I???.... if I don't even know about it because it is on Facebook? Whoa is me! I am not badmouthing Facebook, and ordering you sponsors away, but in my case okay if not anyone else's case ...I feel I am missing out... Yes, I do love facebook completely and I understand, well, but it's pretty difficult to!
 
Back in 2009 I remember joining FB and predicting it would become THE platform for sponsors to run promos. For a change, I nailed it!

Did they stop providing no FB acct entry?

Yep, you were right amy, it seems a lot is on facebook these days. I'll just have to get used to it, but I don't enter facebook sweeps except very rarely or if it's an instant win.
 
I have seen so many of our regular sweeps go Facebook also..*sad* very *sad* . But it is just the signs of the time for sure. I have to look long and hard now to find a good large sweepstakes that is not Facebook related.

For years had no facebook account, and then the sweeps started mostly moving there. For awhile I almost quit entering contests because of this. But finally decided, to just open a facebook account for my contest entries. So have no friends list there. I really don't think it's fair for them to be able to contact our friends when we enter a small contest.

We already get enough junk mail ourselves from entering contests. I go in often and UNLIKE some that seems to like to send out over much of these type emails. A free coupon just not worth all the junk. JMHO
 
I have Facebook and just two friends on Facebook. But I don't want any more friends on Facebook. I love the simplified entry forms on Facebook, but just the fact that I have had two previous Facebook accounts cancelled for too many likes(blog likes) well, it made me give up liking anything but the minimum of pages of big Facebook sweeps. My fear of trying to go thru each and every Facebook sweepstakes is that while I have the time (hours would not describe how long it would take and I'd soooo gladly do so) but to do so and perhaps win, if I got the error for my account again all the work would be for nothing like it was before.... so, I do pretty good on wins in the past with the amount I enter thus I just have to accept the trend now seems to be facebook sweeps. I'm sure sponsors do read message boards tho, so this is a successful message!!:)
