Pepsi Zero Sugar winner

Nice win, this one had weird rules for the mail in it said mail a "3”x5” postcard but the minimum size for USPS is 3.5 X 5. So I thought to myself put a card in an envelope but it said "Mail-In Entries mailed in an envelope or sent in excess of the entry limits set forth below will not be accepted" just wondering how did you send it? These sponsors are really dumb sometimes with their rules that don't make sense. Got to be very careful sometimes because there are really bad sponsors that can DQ mail-ins for very dumb mistakes.

A very good topic you bring up. I've been focused on Snail-mail sweeps for many years and I'll share with you some things I've found. You always want to follow the rules to the letter....UNLESS they ask for a 3X5 "postcard." Different fulfillment companies use "postcard" in different ways. Any time you see where is says "Entries sent in envelopes will be disqualified" you always mail a postcard. EVEN if it states a 3X5 postcard. In that case, you'd want to send a 3.5X5 postcard. In my experience, sweepstakes sponsors will copy the rules of former sweeps and not even read it. I've actually contacted several companies over the years about their official rules being incorrect and asking for clarification. They've always thanked me for bringing it up (as it can end up being a legal headache for them) and will fix the rules pretty quickly.
So long story short, follow the rules but sometimes you have to figure out what they actually will accept.
To the OP, congrats on your win! There is NOTHING like winning a Snail-mail sweep if you ask me!!

Thanks everyone. I sent the paperwork back in yesterday and got an email back from the company. They said its digital card and would be sent later this week.
I enter mail in ones a lot but if it says entries in envelopes not accepted I don't mail in for those, some of them require a bit to much info for me to send on a postcard. The Envelope ones I enter a lot, I think it might be the first mail in I have gotten a win with

Wow! Awesome win! Big congrats to you 🥳 Thanks for the mail in discussion. I've been entering sweeps for decades and only did a mail in once. I've always thought I was missing out and really should invest in them. A project for this summer I think...:)

Got an email this afternoon I was a potential winner(had to send it forms which I have done)
1000 AMEX card
I used the mail in feature on this one
great win just in time for back to school
Who was the sweeps administrator? I'm still waiting for news on the Motorcycle I won from Pepsi almost 3 months ago.
