He's just not interested. He is not a big vacation person to begin with. When he does go, he'd rather hit Daytona Beach or Disney. Castles and Museums don't interest him. He won't even consider Euro Disney because he doesn't want to go to France. :nono:

Although, he does love Vegas! :headbang: He also enjoyed California. He would go back to LA again.

I think when we get older and have more time, he will be more open to international travel, but he works so much, it's hard to take that kind of time off.

Bummer! I don't do things like museums either--bore me to death. Most of what we did in Germany is just sightsee; go to places like my mother's old school, where she lived when she married, where my uncle was stationed, etc.; mostly we just ate and shopped. It's such a different world than here. Once you go, you'll just want to go back again. I don't have an interest in England, France, or Spain though; but I wouldn't mind going to other places like Ireland, Switzerland, etc.

I loved Spain. It really was amazing. Within a half hour of Madrid, you can get lost in the countryside. It is beautiful. The old towns with their narrow, cobblestone roads were really interesting. The people were so awesome and welcoming.

I had the best Strawberries of my life in a little farming community and the best Hot Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways and Churros at this little restaurant next to the hotel. If you ever want hot chocolate, you want it there! :headbang:

We traveled all over Central Spain. We didn't have time to head to the coast. I was lucky. I traveled with two people who had lived in spain. They knew every out of the way spectacular thing to see or do. I loved it. The food was too rich for me. Everything was drowned in olive oil or sauces.

I would go back in a minute!

I was very relieved that it rained both Sundays I was there. I didn't even have to think about going to a bull fight. I think it is barbaric. But, the rest of Spain is amazing!
