 Hey all. This has been bugging me, and I can't seem to fix it. When I go to some websites, my computer will come up with a box in the middle that say, "operation aborted". Then I have to click it. And the website goes blank, or goes to cannot open website. Does anyone know anything about this, and how to fix it? My computer is acting slower too.

How do I fix this problem?

The easiest way for you to fix the problem is to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8.
This problem no longer occurs in Internet Explorer 8.
To upgrade to Internet Explorer 8, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Windows Internet Explorer 8: Home page
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/default.aspx (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/default.aspx)

You can also contact the Web site owners and tell them that you cannot view their Web site in Internet Explorer 7. If the Web site developers are interested, the More Information for developers section explains how Web developers can make simple changes to their Web sites that will make them fully compatible with Internet Explorer 7. In the meantime, of course, you will be unable to view this Web site, so upgrading to Internet Explorer 8 may be the better option for you.

When I try to upgrade to internet explorer. It says I have to upgrade my windows. So I have upgraded that like twice now. And internet explorer, still says it isn't upgraded enough??

What version of Windows do you have?

What version of Internet Explorer do you have?

Are you using Windows Update?

Do you have plenty of free disk space?

What specificly is telling you Internet Explorer is out of date?

Thanks!

I have vista. I don't know what internet explorer version I have. All day I have been updating with windows updates. And I have low disc space.
