One entry sweeps, Worth it??

I spend most of my time doing many instant win games and daily entries. Then I will go to Facebook based giveaways and blogger giveaways.

I haven't yet started on the "One Entry" listings. Are these really worth it?

Hiya candlepinman {Jason} - 1x's are really the "enter and forget it" type of promo since while they require the same initial investment of your time as any other sweeps, it's one and done!

So it comes down to time - if you have it, then by all means, enter them!

Some see sweeping as a zero sum game, where if I win, you lose, but I view it a bit differently - opportunities abound for those willing to commit the time & energy, and while it doesn't give a return equal to our input, if we are consistent, persistent, and patient, the possibilities are endless!!!
 
I have entered thousands of one time entries, without much luck. But they don't take much time, so I keep doing them. I have only won once from a blog, and those are supposed to have the best chances to win. hmm, come to think of it I never got my prize from that either. It's probably worth it to at least get a few in, but I think most of the time people win from the dailies.
 
My motto is that if you don't enter, you'll have a 100% chance of not winning. Everyone is on equal footing on 1-entry sweeps, although I've only had one 1 GP in my few years of sweeping so far. (hopefully that will change soon!)
 
Like snoopysnop, 1 I feel we all have the same shot at winning with the 1 entry contests. I haven't won big but I love winning and getting a surprise in the mail every now and then.
 
A few months ago, I won a trip to London from a single entry sweep. They wouldn't tell me how many entries they received. No telling what I've won from single entries. Never kept up with the statistics on that.
 
I think one entry sweepstakes are worth it because we all have one entry into the sweepstakes. Unlike some others we can enter by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, mail-in, text, Pin, etc. I was called last year for the TV Guide Hotlist Sweepstakes valued over $4,000( for 2 flight, giftcard, hotel, and celeb party for 2 nights. I had to turn it down due to relocating. But I was pleasantly surprised and still happy my name was randomly chosen.
 
Hi candlepinman. I like one entry sweeps becuz of = odds and how quick and easy they are. I have won some nice prizes from that category, a few $100 +. I won a queen Mattress ($599) from a blog and a lot of other smaller prizes, but they are time consuming. I have not won that many prizes from the daily category (compared to # I entered), some nice smaller wins from the mags and others have had big wins with them. Facebook is very good to me (both in # won and $ amounts) and many of them are one time entries. I also have good luck in the monthly, book, DVD and CD categories, these often have lower entries than the blogs on SA, so better odds.
 
Hello there I also like the ONE ENTRY I have won many DVD/CD's also won a few larger prizes GPS $1000 BLUE RAY PLAYER. But that is in the 10 YEARS I have been doing Sweeps. GOOD LUCK
