On pins & needles, hoping... and a couple smaller wins

Won the DSRL pack this morning - shirt, cooler, glasses, headband

Won a $50 electronics gift card the other night from Nabisco

BUT what's got me on edge - this morning - we slept in because it was cold - I heard the phone ringing & didn't get to it in time to answer it. Answering machine was acting up so it didn't pick up like it should have. CallerID showed that it was Westwood One who called - I called the number back but just got a young receptionist who couldn't tell me anything as far as who might have called & why....

They've had several sweeps going & some just ended recently, so I'm pulling my hair out wondering, hoping....

Will they call back again or do you think I lost my chance because I didn't answer the phone, or ??? I've only been doing this for exactly 1 month now, so I'm not in the loop as far as how sponsors handle the sweeps these days (I did a lot of sweepstaking in the past, but that was 12 years ago so it's so different now....)

ARGH - I just wish they'd call back so I'd know *something*!!! I have gotten a few sales calls from companies, but I can't imagine why a radio company would be soliciting anything..... oh the suspense.......

Thanks, everyone! I'll let you all know when/if I hear anything further! I'm not getting my hopes up TOO much, I don't even know for certain that the phone call was a win - but it seems odd for it to be anything else after I checked on who Westwood was....

Stormvikki, I guess I have been kinda lucky for the very first month at it - the Nabisco DSRL win this morning was my fifth win now, that is if you count the pack of Mike & Ike's candy as a true "win" LOL! But I've been putting a lot of time into it too - being retired, I don't have much better to do with my time! :) I want a trip so badly - other than cash, that would be my dream prize, a vacation somewhere, anywhere!!! We haven't even done a overnight stay anywhere in almost 10 years now - we're both wanting a little "getaway" so badly.....

Well, I never got another phone call, and nothing showed up in the mail -- so IF it was a potential win, they must have just gone ahead & picked someone else. Or it wasn't about a win at all, though a sales call from them seems really odd.... Checking through the sweeps they had going, they'd had one that had just closed on the 8th or 9th for a 4-day trip to spend New Years Eve at Times Square, so maybe with it being time-sensitive, they didn't want to waste a lot of time trying to contact/confirm a winner....

Oh well... the "not-knowing" part still makes me soooo curious, but that's what I get for sleeping in that morning! :laughing:

I got a surprise t-shirt in the mail today from the Burger Debate sweeps - so another small win to add to the list. I'll keep plugging away at it & I KNOW there's a big one waiting out there somewhere with my name on it!! :sunny:
