when i decided to start sweeping i setup a seperate email address to use for just sweeping. i just automatically put sweeps in email address now wondering if that is part of reason not winning. if they are truly randomn it shouldn't matter just wondering what yall thought. example of my email is [email protected] lol ............... etc. i used my first initial, last name then sweeps. ive been sweeping couple months and not winning. ive read the post about not winning and i spend different times sweeping. im on all throughout the day and night sweeping. not stressing over it just curious if email could be problem?

I always recommend a separate email account used exclusively for sweeping. You did exactly what you should have done.
Be patient, this isn't an instant gratification hobby. Some folks hit wins right away, but usually it takes time, especially if you're selective in the sweeps you enter. Enter some of the less desirable sweeps that attract fewer entrants. The odds are better and you'll win more often. This will help with your motivation. Practically everyone will enter a sweep for cash, especially $500 or more, so the odds are not good due to the number of entrants.
Very few people will enter a sweep with a pair of dirty socks as the prize, so your chance to win is excellent. Compare that to the 2015 HGTV Dream Home sweep that had over 94,000,000 entries.

Your e-mail address shouldn't be a problem. Keep in mind that the majority of sweeps a newbie enters won't even be drawn until a few months after they first enter. After that your odds of winning something at any particular time may go up because sweeps that you entered will be ending all the time.

im just being impatient lol. ready for a trip hee hee fingers crossed. i got to thinking maybe having sweeps in email address would be possible turnoff. glad to hear not problem would be too impossible to change and start over. my hubby thinks im crazy spending so much time doing sweeps but heck on computer all the time anyway. might as well. just might win something

I just consider it a hobby that pays... beats the TV anyway. 
dthumbie - Yes, sponsors/JA's could create a program that screened for certain words, but they'd probably be cuss/racist/etc words - very unlikely they would parse the sweeps part of your addy as sweepstakes. That said, it probably wouldn't happen until *after* it came to their attention when you were drawn as a winner.

i did read the post and was very imformative. im just being too impatient. i know it will take time but i see other people winning and i just hope i will soon get to post something too . i dont have any luck with the instant wins. i did win on one but never got my confirmation email and i have emailed them twice with no response. it was on the lord of dance sweepstake. i upgraded to the plus so have access to the locals. i'll keep on keeping on just cant wait for a win 
. i will eventually get my routine down and will be easier and faster. i have yet to figure out the roboform. it saves passwords but never fills the forms wahhhhh lol

If you haven't done so already. search for the web pages of all your local radio stations and enter their giveaways. I have won several of the ones in my area.
