Newbies who lost membership $$$

New members here that had paid for memberships at The Other Site can get charge-backs from Paypal within 90 days, or from their credit card company (if you paid using one) within 6 months. It doesn't matter that you were banned, or because the site is down. If you're without your membership for whatever reason, you have recourse.

That's the consumer law. It protects you against dishonest merchants. :sunny:
 
why is that site down? I look on there, only in the forums to see the winners. But for two days the site wont load up.
 
I wish I had known this. I waited for my paid membership to run out like a dumb bunny!

I don't like the people over there, so much nastiness and negativity.

I have been lurking here for a while and decided to register. This is a much nicer atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming!

Let me say that I really like a lot of the people "over there," so that was never an issue. But I "won" two subscriptions for premium in their contest for people who list sweepstakes. Both were taken away when I was banned, even though I listed about 500 contests for them. So at least I didn't lose money, only their "gifts." Helluva way to show love for the members. :scratch:

Welcome to the land of the free. It keeps getting better and better here. :laughing:
