New to blog sweeps

I have for the most part avoided any blog sweepstake like the plague. However, today when I was entering new sweeps I happened to look at a few of the prizes for blog sweeps and some are pretty nice. I've decided it's worth a little extra work if it's something that I'm interested in.

My question is when you are leaving a comment and you fill in your name, email, url, etc. if you put your email address in the form, do you have to include it (like kekagel (at) yahoo (dot) com) in the comment as well?

Thanks! Any other tips are also greatly appreciated.

I enter a lot of blog contests and have won a lot of nice things from them. However, I do not enter those blogs requiring the person to put their email address in the body of the comments as "name at ISP dot com". They do this supposedly to prevent spambots from using your email to spam you, but I'm more concerned about someone taking my email and harrassing me with some type of email--I'd rather chance the spam. So, I only enter those blogs with an actual form that has a separate spot for the email address and does not publish it publically. :) I have seen a number of other people also state that they do not enter those requiring your email in the body of the comments. I really don't have a clue as to why they don't set it up as a form as other bloggers do!
