New in Town

Hello everyone!
I just recently (like two days ago recently) decided to take up sweeping as a hobby and I'm happy that here on SA there seems to be a strong network of people to encourage and support each other.

About a year ago I entered a contest where I was fortunate enough to win a wacom tablet. I personally had no need for it and sold it to a student that was in need of it, but I had tasted that first win and that was enough to get me hooked. As far as what I have tried to set up strategy-wise on SA, I have hit the ground running as it were entering as many different types of contests and giveaways that I can (and of course as many that interest me). I know I have a lot to learn and am very enthused to hear feedback and chat with everyone.

There definitely are lots of supportive and fun people on this site, and excellent sweeping and organizing tools, in addition to all the sweeps listings. There is a lot to learn and read about in the forums, including here in Newbies. If you have any specific questions, just ask.

For a lot of people, enter, enter, enter works. Some of us are more selective than others, but if you are consistent and persistent, you will eventually be posting in the Winner's Circle. Your tablet win was great, and for wins we can't use, or want to trade or sell, we do have a section in the forum for that.
