Its seems all of the Netwinner Members that are due Ecount MasterCard winnings have been waiting over six months for them. You can read more about this hear: http://comparerewards.com/

SA has decided to remove Netwinner from the site because Netwinner has also failed to respond to our queries twice in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully people will get their prizes at some point but SA will not support sites that don't award their prizes.

I received a call from one of their VP's yesterday in response to a claim I filled with the better business bureau stating that they have 90 days to fill prize winnings. When I filed it had only been about 60 days so I plan on refiling if I do not receive my prize.

If they are saying they have 90 days that is just a smoke screen because I know people have waited 6 months or more.

I have heard the same complaint which is why i complained. We'll see what happens. That's just what they said.

Got a letter from the president and from what it sounds like they are not going to honor the fulfilment of any cash cards. I cashed out on 11/12/07 for $100 visa and never got it. Now they say they are converting it back to points x2. The points can be used to enter sweepstakes , like I don't enter enough sweeps that I never win on already. I am completely disgusted as I am sure everyone else who won $$ from them and are now getting ripped off! Sorry but it's not fair! They blame it on cheaters and I say then they should still have to pay the people that played fair.

They have converted thier redemptions to points and screwed me out of $450.00. I am filling complaints with BBB and anyone else that will listen. The forum has been shut down.

Why I ever spent more time there than hear is beyond me, but thank you for taking down thier posting as the site was nothing but a pyramid scheme. If you got in early enough, you might have gotten a few GC's, if not, then you got totally screwed.

Did you get the letter via email or regular mail? Exactly what did it say. I have a complaint open with the BBB and I"m trying to decide what to do.

Here's a copy of the email I received: The double points have already been put into my account.

To our loyal Players:

As President & COO, I want to take this opportunity to communicate candidly about the current status of our site and our plans for moving forward in 2008 and beyond.

Since the launch of NetWinner in June of 2006, we have had the pleasure of giving away over $1.5 million in cash and prizes to over 20,000 lucky winners. Over that time, we have worked hard to provide new features, new ways to win, and improve our Players experience.

Unfortunately, we have also spent much of our last two years attempting to improve how we police fraudulent users who not only defraud us, but also defraud all of our honest Players. Our most recent statistics show that over 40% of Players redeeming for prizes have violated our Terms of Service sometime before redemption. We are truly saddened that such a significant number of fraudulent users have impacted our legitimate Players winnings and our business at these levels.

During the last six months, we have also experienced ongoing technical and business issues with our outsourced fulfillment provider of debit cards.

These two major issues have become virtually insurmountable in ensuring the prompt fulfillment of prizes. As a result, we have been forced to temporarily suspend our debit card redemption option as we pursue new options for points and prize redemptions.

But more importantly, like many other businesses and households, we have also been experiencing the challenges of the recent economic downturn. Together with the tightening of credit markets, this has significantly affected our revenue and our ability to take on additional debt required to continue to grow our business.

These realities forced our management team and investors to make difficult choices. We had two options: shut the company down, or make adjustments to our business model that would allow us to move forward in new ways with new games, new prizes, and new ways to win. The second option would allow Players to continue to have opportunities to win cash and prizes, and for us to remain a destination site for casual gamers on the Web.

We have chosen to make necessary changes and move forward in new ways. But this choice is not without consequences both to our Players and to our company. We are acutely aware that these changes may be unpopular with our Players and may even cause some Players to stop playing our games. For that I apologize personally.

But for thousands and thousands of others, we will remain one of the most lucrative casual game sites on the Internet, continuing to give away over $50,000 in prizes every month.

Our new model will no longer be a rewards based model, as many have come to perceive it. That is, time spent on our site is not directly correlated with an amount of money earned. As a casual game site, our model will be more in line with other popular casual game sites. Players can earn instant cash wins as always and points may be redeemed for cash and prize drawings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This levels the playing field for all our Players and substantially limits the ability of fraudulent users to convert points into cash.

To best address the current fraud and operational challenges Ive outlined, all existing redemption points for debit cards that have not been fulfilled will be doubled and refunded into each Players account. For example, if an individual redeemed 25,000 points toward a debit card, 50,000 points will be deposited back into their account. These can now be redeemed for entries into any of our growing list of cash and prize drawings.

By mitigating the amount of fraud we experience, we have revisited our policies that were designed and deployed to reduce that fraud. We are now able to dramatically increase and vary the number of daily plays allowed on our games and provide more frequent multipliers and other new promotions with even more new ways to win.

We have also modified our fulfillment policy moving forward. All cash daily drawings will be fulfilled in 30 days or less, and all other prizes, including prize drawings and instant cash wins, will be fulfilled within 60 days. We recognize that the delays that occurred in the past were a major source of frustration for our Players.

As we have been making strategic decisions and directions changes at our headquarters, we have not broadly disseminated them with all of our staff and volunteer moderators for confidential business reasons. Please understand that our support staff performed as best they could with the information provided them. Realizing that we have not performed as best we could in supporting our Players requests, we have put new customer support processes and staff in place to improve our relationships with our Players. Our staff can be reached during normal business hours in the Eastern Time Zone at [email protected].

We have made these decisions for the benefit of all our Players as well as the employees and partners of our company. Companies must constantly adapt and evolve as operating conditions change. It was necessary for us to do the same.

It is our hope that these changes will create a more fair and exciting casual game environment for our existing and future Players who come to our site. I speak for our entire staff when I send my thanks to all our loyal Players for their commitment and support.

I don't see how you can cheat on net winner. Even when you could play on multiple sites daily you still had to put in the time playing the games. I think they underestimated how long people are willing to sit in a trance spinning their freaking wheel so someone would throw them a bone every now and then.

:headbang: I totally agree! I don't even know how to cheat on that, but I am sure that there are people out there that can find a way to cheat at just about everything.

In the beginning, the bones were pretty meaty. I joined netwinner in sept of 2006, right around the beginning, and I did receive about $400 worth of gift cards and a couple $25 instant wins. It still doesn't make up for what happened now, I did put in the time to earn another $225 which I will never see.

Get a Life," Says NetWinner
May 13, 2008 12:01 PM | Permalink | Comments (57)

I wanted to share with you one of the comments left on my blog just minutes ago. "Get a life," it said. Here's the comment and please note the IP address from which it was left: http://www.comparerewards.com/getalife.jpg

I plugged in that IP address to find out where the comment originated from, and guess who left it?: http://www.comparerewards.com/netwinnercomment.jpg

Yes. NetWinner. This was not a volunteer mod, this was an employee of NetWinner posting from NetWinner's headquarters, on NetWinner's own IP address in Charlotte, NC. One day after announcing to its members that it would not be paying them what they owed, they tell the complainers to "get a life."

Adding insult to injury... as if the comments left last night by forum moderator Cuffedaddy weren't bad enough, calling the NetWinner members, some of whom lost hundreds of dollars, "a bunch of people whining cause they lost nothing but a little bit of time they were not forced into playing anything." He continued on urging complainers to "grow up...Im not crying over something free," and "Honestly what have you people lost but time????"

These responses were left anonymously by another NetWinner forum moderator, lisa6948146: "You all seriously need to get a job...do any of you losers have jobs apparently not...It only takes a foot in front of another to get your a$$ away from your computer and get a job and get a paycheck." Proof that she was the anonymous poster is in a lookup of all comments left from her IP address -- see them here and the most recent ones she left are here
.

I'm freezing my post about NetWinner from yesterday and asking that you continue commenting here. The blog software isn't really set up for having over 500 comments on one post and this is resulting in some errors including post duplication. Hopefully a fresh post will fix this.

If you leave a comment and get an error, please refresh the page to see if your comment was posted before resubmitting it; thanks!

Now, I'll step out of the way and let the discussion continue.

Please do not twist the facts. We did not ban you for getting referrals. The action was taken after multiple complaints from other web sites. If we do not react to these complaints about your behavior, then we are liable for your actions. You saw the reaction from just a couple players after see a tiny sample of your comments. People fail to realize how just about anything people say about Netwinner anywhere on the web can be found tracked very simply by anybody. Make no mistake; we do not lock an account for a single complaint or for a person who merely promotes the site. I prefer not to air other people's dirty laundry. We do not reply to people who we have found to violate our rules because it is generally a huge waste of time. Most of this I share here not to say to you, but so others understand we do not wish to waste time investigating fraud, compiling data, evaluating data, and/or sharing data. The only time I have found an error on our part about locking accounts was when the system used an automated program to identify cheats. People who played obsessively for almost all hours everyday (no time for sleep, work, or other activities most humans take part in) were flagged as bots. On a few of these I worked diligently, and had the locks removed because I decided it was more likely the player was merely obsessed and not a bot. Please understand how much work we have to do just to respond to ordinary players who have never broke the rules and have an issue. It is not fair to them to spend a lot of time trying to reinstate a player who did break the rules and ignore them. I am explaining this here to you more so other players can understand how we operate. The vast majority of people with locked account will never hear a response from anybody who works for Netwinner. It takes a lot of resources and never helps us out in our mission.

I just received this mesage from Netwinner. Seems this is not exactly a solution. The debit cards people redeemed are now points again? Claiming this was fraud accross the board allows them to get out of their user agreement to pay people.
