Needing some advice!

I've been sweeping since April, 08. I'm using my roadrunner email with internet explorer. On many of my instant wins especially with eprize I have not been receiving the conf email. I've contacted RR & Eprize concerning the matter. Eprize states there were some technical issues but have been cleared up & have sent the conf emails to me & RR says some emails get kicked back to the company if they appear to be spam & also sometimes their server is down. With sweeps such as Burger King & Subway I had to start using my yahoo email because I wasn't receiving any emails/codes from them with RR/Internet Explorer. My husband recently started sweeping using his yahoo acct & I've noticed he gets 3 X the confirming entry emails I'm getting. My concern is if I'm a winner & they notify me via email, but because it looks like spam it gets kicked back to the company! OMG, that would be awful. Losing a sweep I didn't know I'd won! I do between 250-300 sweeps a day & on many of them once you're registered under a certain username/email, there is no way to go in & change your email w/o changing the username. If I did that I'd afraid it would become a sweeping nightmare & disaster. I know many of you must use RR/Internet Explorer, have you had any problems... or am I just overreacting?
 
when you first register for the contest, (when you type in your personal info, pick a user name. ) after your done with that are you getting a confirmation email saying "thank you for registering. " "your now registered"?
If your getting those emails, then you should get a winning email. but, like with the burger king, you should have been receiving the 3 codes. Eprize almost always sends out a "Congratulations" email after youv'e won. Sometimes it takes up to 24 hrs. but, i have always received a congratulations email after i 'have won.
 
I had a lot of problems in the past using an email from providers so, I just use yahoo mail for everything now. I don't even bother going into the providers email anymore. Too many glitches and always kicked stuff back as spam.

Get a Gmail account and use it ONLY for contests. I do that. Providers have a habit of 'deciding' for us what they see as spam. :cussing:
 
I have RR and IE also. I use Yahoo for my sweeps. I noticed with RR on some of the instant wins like Lipton Tea I have to disable my firewall before it will let me play.
