Well, I started doing some sweeps again about 3 weeks ago - I got the Rhapsody downloads from Logitech, and candy from Mike & Ikes, but this morning had an unexpected surprise -- I won a big $42 box of gourmet truffles from a blog contest I'd entered. YUM! I usually skip over blog contests, but entered a few of them earlier this week - couldn't resist the ones for fancy chocolates!

Hoping to see some bigger wins soon, but at least it's a start!

Things have sure changed! I was really into sweepstaking big-time app. 1996-1997 - we did fairly well at it then - about $20k total in a year, averaging a win every 3 days throughout the year that I really got into it. We did a mixture of online and mail-ins back then - most of our big prizes came through the mail-ins. Then life circumstances changed drastically & I fell away from it. Did some random entries now & then, but never really got back into it steadily until just now. It's fun to get back into it again, and I'm hoping to be able to start w/ mail-ins again too.

First Win Ever Today

Hey everyone! I just joined this site and just started sweeping recently. Well, I had my first win today (instant) for a $50 gift certificate to Meijer. I couldn't believe I won something. Now, I think I've created a monster :crazytongue:

:) FINALLY WON SOMETHING.. I won an Aerogarden from Zabitatz last week and Today I won a book from Expand Knowledge Publications.. Halleujah

I just received an email this morning stating that I won a Gibson guitar starter kit. This is my 1[sup]st[/sup] "real" win. I'm soooo excited. I can't wait to receive it and check it out!!
