My brain needs a rest or something!

I got up this morning to get my kids off to school and they asked me what day it was and I said Tuesday. They looked at me funny and said they thought it was Wednesday. I had to have my youngest go out and get the newspaper to know what day it is!! I so need this break coming up just as much as they do!
 
Im surprised I even remember my own name some days. I get aggravated with one of them and I will say keely, I mean wesley, whatever your name is you know im talking to you!! get over here. :laughing: We call our youngest boo and the oldest boy bubby. I have gotten flustered with them and instead of saying boo or bubby I say boobie. :scratch: Kinda makes it hard to get on to them after that.
 
Let me tell you what I did yesterday. I swear my kids must think I am the wicked witch with the way they looked at me. Here it was about 1:30 and they came prancing in the door. I said "What are you doing home??" and they said "uh, mom it's Tuesday", well they get out at this time every tuesday. They gave me a funky look.

My kids get out around the same time today and off until the 7th of January, someone help me!

Well, I just had the 1, 20 years ago, but I swear he took a HUGE chunk of mine!!! :nono: :laughing: :crazytongue:
 
Try passing OUT on a helo one night ( I was in the navy) and waking up 4 months later... OVER LOADDD All you ladies make sure you S L O W down and breath. I had alot of STRESS and serious serious life tornados all in one year BAM one after another but your mind soul brain will STOP if you over load it. Take 10 minutes a day to breath for ONLY you.

I just took a hour nap...does that count? LOL I got up and made dinner of course cause a mommy's work is never done! :love:
 
We called Caitlyn boogie until she went into school and Ashelyn's nickname is still George. People look at us so weird when we call this little doe eyed girl "George"!! Everyone that knows her calls her that though ~ including our pastor and her doctor!!
 
I have finally given up on calling my kid's names when I am mad, because I know it isn't going to come out right anyway ~ so I usually just point and say "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" Very effective right now, they know I am mad, because IF I have to wait to get the name right you are really going to get it :crazytongue:

my youngest just started asking me to stop calling him that. :cry: He said at home its ok but not out in public. :laughing: my oldest boy has been asking me for years to stop. Its hard. Its what I have always called them. I will stop. when they are thirty. maybe. We call my daughter sissy and she doesnt mind. She is the oldest and the meanest and I thought she would say stop first but hasnt. go figure.
