I'm NOT one to brag as I find bragging in poor taste. I only post this as a way to encourage my fellow sweepers. This is the third trip I've won this year. A previous one I posted is going to Miami in December for "an intimate performance for the 50 grand prize winners and 50 guests" for a young rap star I've never heard of before. Another trip was won via another sweep that was not posted on this site so I've kept it out of the "winners' circle. This is probably the biggest win I've had since the late 2000s when I used to belong to the now-defunct "Online-sweepstakes.com"
All three trips were won by entering by US MAIL. This is my thinking on why I'm so "lucky" recently. I think between our sweepstakes site and the countless others, sweeps you can enter online for free are entered by a substantial number of people. However, those which offer an amoe sweepstakes via US Mail require not only time to sit down and write out your 3X5 paper/card or postcard, but you also have to invest .58 cents in postage (.60 cents starting July 1st, mark your calendars!) I think this substantially lowers the odds of winning a significant prize, in my opinion. Keep in mine, you can find "discount postage" on Ebay. 70% of face is easy to find. Finally, best of luck to my fellow sweepers. I hope you all win some great stuff! Remember the three P's "Patience, persistence and postage!"
P.S. this sweep is still valid! There are five grand prizes available! Okay, well four after today. :) so search for it, check out the rules and start writing your envelopes!

Congrats! After winning a trip to the Macy's parade 5-6 years ago, I have been trying to win another trip! My trouble is I am a teacher with sporty kids so I have a hard time entering most dated wins. I need to be able to pick the dates we go! But I keep trying. Thanks for the tip on the mail ins. I do those when the prize seems "worth it" lol! Do you do one a day, like some allow? Or just one for the contest?

Hi there. I have currently have six core mail-in sweeps I'm doing. One each per day. I usually mail 6-8 entries per day during the week. Saturday I send those plus the "One per household" entries, weekly and monthly. Saturday I send typically all together maybe 20-25 entries.
Yeah, I hear you about vacation wins and figuring out if you can swing it with kids/work etc. My boys are all grown and gone now so it's just myself and the Missus.

Since this forum is to encourage everyone to post their wins, I don't find any post "bragging"
I like to know what everyone is winning, what sweeps have had their drawings, how prizes are arriving, how they received notification, etc., etc
HAPPY when reading about multiple wins (or a single win)
Keep on sweeping and posting all the wins!!! :)

LOVE to hear about others' wins. Keeps me motivated. Congratulations on the big wins this year, OP! Keep on doin' what you're doin'. It seems to be working.

Wonderful Win, enjoy! & Congratulations!

Congratulations!! That is an amazing win!! We are so grateful that you choose to share your winning announcement with us. :)

Congrats on your wins! A question if u don't mind, do you use labels for mailing and on the hand-addressed ones do you hand-address the return address as well? I've seen so many variations and its been awhile since I've won anything via mail, has me wondering if that might be contributing. I admit I don't do as many mail-ins as I should although as you said, the odds are much better these days.

Thank you for your well wishes! I always enjoy answering any question about Mail-in sweeps! Lol.
So here's my policy. I ALWAYS hand-write EVERYTHING. Some allow labels for return addresses, some don't require them at all and, of course, some require hand-written. I make it VERY easy for myself by just hand writing everything. Hint, if you're writing out one per day for a specific sweep, even if they don't require a return address...add it. For the sole purpose of insurance. Insurance? Well, sometimes they screw up the address or end a sweep early. Without a return address, you'd just keep wasting your time and postage for no reason. That's my opinion. (IMHO as the kids say, haha)
