Give Love Win Sweepstakes Official Rules NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility Give Love Win Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and the District of Columbia), Puerto Rico and Canada (excluding Quebec) (the “Eligibility Area”) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Proof of residency and age may be required. Employees and directors of AEO Management Co. (“AEO” or “Sponsor”), Sync Marketing LLC and their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, and advertising or promotional agencies or individuals involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes and the immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year, whether related or not. Timing Game Pieces (as defined below) will be distributed during store hours between: 1) December 7, 2018 at 5:00 a.m. ET - December 9, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET; and 2) December 14, 2018 at 5:00 a.m. ET - December 16, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET, or when supplies of Game Pieces are exhausted, whichever occurs first (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entry Period”). Administrator is the official time keeper for this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules and is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.

4. How to Obtain a Game Piece During the Sweepstakes Entry Period visit a participating American Eagle Outfitters store and get a game piece (“Game Piece”). Contact your local American Eagle Outfitters stores to determine participation, location and hours. There are two ways to get a Game Piece:

A.With a Purchase. You will automatically receive (1) Game Piece upon checkout.

B.No Purchase Necessary. You will automatically receive (1) Game Piece from a sales associate when you make a request. You do not have to make a purchase to receive a Game Piece by requesting one.

Limit of (1) Game Piece per person per day, regardless of method of obtaining Game Piece. Making purchases will not entitle you to additional Game Pieces beyond the daily limit.

5. Winner Determination Once you have received your Game Piece, such Game Piece will contain perforated parts. Once the perforated parts are removed, the Game Piece will reveal either a grand prize, first prize, second prize, or third prize (collectively a “Prize”) or a bounce back cash card (“Bounce Back Cash Card”). If you are a potential Bounce Back Cash Card winner, you may redeem such claim at a participating American Eagle Outfitters or Aerie store in accordance with these Official Rules and the terms/expiration date of the Bounce Back Game Piece. If you are a potential Prize winner the Game Piece will contain a prize code (“Prize Code”) and you may redeem such Prize in accordance with these Official Rules. If the Game Piece contains a Prize Code, you must secure such Game Piece and not share the Prize Code with another person. 7. Verification of Potential Winners If the Game Piece reveals you are a winner of a Prize then you must complete verification by going to www.ae.com/givelovewin (the “Website”). At the Website you will be required to provide the Prize Code along with your name, address, phone number and email address. If any potential winner is a Canadian resident he/she will be required to correctly answer a time limited skill-testing question without assistance, in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in forfeiture of the prize. If you are a winner of a third prize (US $100 AE Gift Card) then your electronic Gift Card will be emailed within 24 hours once verification is complete to the email address provided on the Website. If you are a winner of a grand prize, first prize or second prize you will be required to download an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Publicity Release (where permitted by law) (collectively, the “Affidavit”) and a W9 form (for US residents only). You then must complete the forms and provide them per the instructions given on the Website along with a scan or a photo of the Game Piece that clearly shows the Winning Code back in order to claim the Prize. Grand Prize Trip Details Trip includes round-trip air transportation to/from gateway airport nearest Winner’s home to Iceland, hotel accommodations in Iceland for four (4) nights (two (2) rooms/double occupancy), rental car while in Iceland and the following excursions for four (4) people: Tour of iconic Golden Circle, Geyser Visit, Tour or Reykjavik, Visit to the Blue Lagoon and visit the Glacier Lagoon in Jokulsarlon and watch the fireworks display (if winner selects date in 2019 that corresponds to the fireworks display). Winner must make travel arrangements within eight (8) weeks of notification that Winner is the selected grand prize Winner. Winner must commence the trip no later than December 31, 2019. If Winner is unable to travel within the time period required, the prize will be forfeited. Trip is subject to availability and blackout dates. Winner must be twenty-three (23) or older to rent a 4WD Jeep, Vans or Mini Vans; twenty (20) or older for all other cars. If Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events compromise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to void the entries at issue, and/or terminate the relevant portion of the Sweepstakes, including the entire Sweepstakes, and/or modify the Sweepstakes and/or award the prize from all eligible entries received as of the termination date.

12. Limitations of Liability The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) technical or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of registrations; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s registration is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes. No more than the stated number of each prize will be awarded.

13. Disputes Entrants agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved exclusively by the United States District Court or the appropriate Pennsylvania State Court located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; (c) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (d) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Pennsylvania.

Entrant’s Personal Information Entrants understand, agree and acknowledge that the information provided in this Sweepstakes may be collected, stored, used, and shared in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and California Privacy Rights statements and these Official Rules. Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.ae.com/content/help/privacy-notices.
