I was born in Baltimore and raised in Glen Burnie. I loved when my Dad had season tix and took me to game sin the 80s when they were way better

Another former Baltimore gal. Grew up near the "real" stadium (Memorial Stadium) with some of the O's players as my neighbors in the 60s.

So awesome. I actually got Edde Murray's autograph and go to see Cal Ripken and all the other greats play
I got to meet Cal twice, he was my hero growing up and met him twice as an adult. Played it cool both times but inside I felt like a school girl. We met at hershey sweepstakes park one summer, he had his kids so I just didn't make a scene and said hi. Then years later in Tampa(I live in Florida now) I met him in Ybor city with a few other businessmen, so I had to ask him for a photo and tell him about him being my hero groing up. He was very nice and my wife took a photo of us!

Thats so awesome. Im so glad I was able to go to games when they had all those amazing players. Im probably going to go to a couple of games this year but it wont be the same
