Lots of wins I guess I'll never see! Can anyone help?

2009 definately set a personal record for me for prizes that were never shipped. I'm hoping some readers can help me identify some of the sweepstakes as not all of them sent confirming emails.

Never received :
Omaha steaks certificate from May 2009
Sunkist Tuna Pouch coupon (I know those were sent to everyone else)
$100 Express Store gift card and fashion books from September 2009 - Does anyone remember the instant win Sweeps that awarded this? There was a pop-up to submit winning info but they never sent a confiming email.
IHOP gift card from September 2009 football IWG- Did anyone else get their $25.00 IHOP card?
Murad wrinkle reducer for eyes from Lucky Breaks from November 2009-Did anyone else win this? - I tried replying to the winning email twice but noboday responds
Kid Cuisine Movie ticket for Planet 51 from October 2009-Did anyone else get theirs? This is the third time I won a movie ticket from Kids Cuisine in 3 different sweeps and I never received a single one.
Ban Hero Wii game from Dr. Maartens
$25 Starbucks card from Huggies from September 2009


If anyone has any info regarding any of these sweeps that they can share, it would be appreciated. I'd just like to know if it's time to write them off.
 
umm not sure what is going on, think I would look around and see if someone is getting in your mail box or something, I got the tuna came in the mail as a coupon, ihops card came from UPS, and the kid cusine movie tickets think they came as e-mail with codes to redeme, been awhile ago so it is hard to remember. Also have recieved 3 different prizes from huggies, gift card, and 2 diaper coupons, they all came in the mail. Good luck getting things straightened out. Have you moved or are you sure they have your correct address and e-mail. that seems like an awful lots of things and all from different places. Good luck and hope you figure it all out.
 
Tobby1, thank you so much for responding with all that info. You at least gave me closure on 3 of the sweeps. I usually get my mail as soon as it arrives so I don't think that is the issue. My address is definately up to date. I have had a long history in my current home of getting other people's mail and my mail getting delivered to other people's houses. I can only assume that's what's been happening. Unfortunately the bills and credit card solicitations always find their way to my mailbox. :scratch: Oh well. Thanks again for your input and congrats on all your recent wins. Wishing you many more!!!
 
only one that i won was the planet 51 movie ticket, it actually via ups or fed x. but it has expired by now, as i let mine expire.
 
I also won the IHOP sweep and never got the prize.
As I recall, I had to contact KidCuisine to ask them about the prize, but did eventually recieve it.
My big "loss" for the year was RadarOnline. They sent half the prize, but despite repeated promises to send it, never did produce the missing piece. At the end of the year, I will contact them one more time to remind them that if they are sending me a tax claim form, it should only be for the value of the items I actually received.

You probably already do this, but if you don't, keep a copy of winning emails and screen shots. If you ever do need to ask a sponsor about a missing prize, this information is really helpful.
 
I'm a little late to the game on this reply, but:
IHOP - I contacted them directly by phone several months after we were supposed to have gotten the prizes to give them a little wiggle room, spoke to a very nice gentleman & got my $25 GC very quickly thereafter.
Huggies - I've won tons of stuff from them & never had any issues with receiving my prizes until just recently. I won a $10 Dairy Queen GC in July & never got it, I e-mailed them & told them, they e-mailed me back & said it was sent out the end of Aug. I said nope, didn't get it, so they just sent me a replacement one by certified mail.

As a general rule it never hurts to contact the sponsor & sometimes by phone will get you further. I just did my end of year e-mail clean up & found I hadn't received prizes from an ESPN instant win in the spring & an Allure win a year ago. Yes, I should've caught them sooner, but I e-mailed the sponsors anyway figuring it couldn't hurt. ESPN didn't respond but I just got an e-mail back from the Allure sweep that they are resending me the prize as well as something "extra" for my trouble over a year later - very classy of them. I also failed to receive a prize from a MILK promotion one time and upon reseraching it found it was partially my fault b/c my address was out of date (there's no way for YOU to update your address on their site, you have to send them an e-mail to do it for you). The people at my old address kept the prize, I'm sure, but MILK sent me another one anyway.

The only company that was horrific for me was Total Beauty - won 5 times in 2008, prizes totaling over $400 and never saw any of them despite repeated e-mails and no response from them. If it was just one prize I probably would've let it go, but b/c it was so many & total value was high I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - always an option but I would only do it as a last resort and only for a very large prize.
 
None of those, but I won a $75.00 Gymboree gift card from Good Housekeeping. I emailed them the requested confirmation, they said they never got it, and awarded it to someone else.

I also won a $100.00 Shell gift card from Ryan Seacrest. Sent in the signed affidavit at the end of July and never got the gift card. Despite sending them numerous telephone and email messages inquiries, they never respond to any.
 
cant say ive experienced that before in my sweeping career. have heard plenty of horror stories. sorry you didnt get ur prizes :/
