I was notified that I was a winner of the Lifetime Christian Siriano Giveaway on March 12, 2010. On the same day I replied with the required information. After many, many email to Kristen Granero at Lifetime (she was the one that notified me) she finally replied to me yesterday with the following:

"Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the Christian Siriano Handbag Giveaway. Unfortunately, we have record of all of your emails with the exception of your original reply in regards to this giveaway, but we encourage you to enter some of the amazing giveaways we have coming up on myLifetime.com."

Really? They admit to ignoring all my email but they don't claim the one with the prize claim info!

Has anyone else had a problem with Lifetime or mylifetime.com/blog? Did anyone else here win this giveaway also (there were 10 winners).

Here is the giveaway information:

You did the right thing by politely and persistently attempting to track down your prize. Although I have never had a problem with this sponsor, over the years, there have been times when I did not receive the prize that I won. Beyond doing what you have done, there is not much else you can do after the fact. In the future, keep a file of winning notices, screen shots, and all correspondence regarding a win. Most prizes show up as promised. When a problem arises, thorough documentation will support your claim, and make it easier for the sponsor to investigate that claim.

Just to give you all a quick update: I send an email with a copy of the message source code from the original email submitted with the required information. In response, I received the following:

"Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for getting back to us. We apologize for the confusion. As consolation, Lifetime will be sending you (1) prize package of equal or greater prize value.

We thank you for your patience and encourage you to keep entering giveaways on myLifetime.com. We have some great giveaways coming up for fall!

Sincerely,
Lifetime Producers"

God bless them for making it right! They could have just totally blew this off but they didn't! Two thumbs up for Lifetime! :sunny:
