Last Pass

I know most people on here use RoboForm, but I found a free open software called Last Pass that does everything RoboForm does. It saves all your info, has an app for firefox, chrome, and IE so forms can be filled quickly, and doesn't have any trial subscription. I didn't want to pay for RoboForm, and I'm glad I didn't. Now I have my first win!

Good luck everyone!

I've been kind of nervous using Lastpass since their security breach regarding hackers earlier this year. Having one place online that will store all of my passwords sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me so I would never use it for important things. I do use their form filler browser on my iPad just to casually sweep, but I only have non-important information stored in my account that I don't mind if some hacker got to.

I use the free version of RoboForm. Very happy with it.

Here is a Roboform website for Frequently Asked Questions: RoboForm version 7:

Scroll down till you find "Why do I have to pay for RoboForm 7?" Scroll down a litle further to the next entry and you'll find:

"Do I still have a free option in RoboForm 7?
Yes! If you have 10 or less logins then RoboForm 7 is free.

I'm using Roboform version 7.7.9, and I specifically remember reading that it was free in the License
Agreement as long as I had 10 or less logins.

I messed up my old (really old and free) version of Roboform about a month ago and had to uninstall it. I then started searching the web for a "free" Roboform and couldn't find such an animal. After much further searching, I found the above Roboform website.

I then gogled "Roboform versions" and downloaded 7.7.9.

Roboform is now up to version 7.8.2.5, but I'm happy with the version I'm using, so I've no reason to upgrade.
