Kelloggs wins - too good to be true methinks

As I posted in another topic, I won. I am certain this is a glitch, but whether Kelloggs will honor their mistake I don't know.

However, I just contacted them directly to make them aware so they could figure out what to do. Our chances of getting the wins honored goes up if they take the sweepstakes down before too many people win. I also don't want Kellogg's to get ripped off by a programming mistake, so if they don't honor my win that's fine as it wouldn't have been actually 'won'.

In any event, they better shut that sucker down and get it fixed. I've found that in similar situations like this it pays to always be honest.

They have my contact info and if I get further information I'll post it here. Good luck, everyone. :cheers:
 
I also e-mailed Kellogg's to let them know of the many winners. I too thought that the chance of them honoring the winning notices would be better if they catch the problem soon enough. Will post if I hear back from them.
 
KCMOVIEBUFF.....you have the right attitude. And, in the long run, that WILL pay off for you. Hope good things are coming your way.
 
I was thinking the same as you all. I also sent an email early this morning to them to let them know. I also won $50.00, but I wasn't thinking about myself, I just didn't want the company to have all kinds of problems if there is a mistake. I hope it works out for all!!
 
well...its 2:30 pm EST and I won 50.00 debit too......mmmme thinks they havent solved the problem yet
 
thanks for the heads up it is really humble of you to make sure the company and all of us are updated either way is Gods way and im ok with it even though i was super excited 1cause ive never won anything in my life still have plenty chances though GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE GOOD FORTUNE!!!1
 
I just won about 5 minutes ago, so glitch is still there. Good job KC and others for notifying them - absolutely honesty is the best policy in life! I do wonder why it's taking them so long to shut it down so they can they fix it? That's just that many more players that will be disappointed (especially ones not on a sweep site like SA - they have no idea that there are way too many winners) and that's not good for Kelloggs to have people associate negative feelings with them.
 
Just fyi to all - it'a 10:23 PM CDT and I've had no further contact whatsoever from Kelloggs.

However, when I just tried to access the sweepstakes site, I got the following:

Methinks they've accepted the fact that the sweepstakes programming was screwed up - now the question is whether they'll make good. Either way, I'm cool.
 
I also won the $50 yesterday around 11 am pst and I did see the many winners so I also had my doubts and now the site is down. I hope I get my win as I need it bad.
 
Will be interesting how they handle it. Wonder if they will void all entries, or do what the official rules say and put our names (winners) in a hat for the 50 1st prizes? :error:

Sure made my day when I first won, hope they keep the hope alive :laughing:
 
Kellogg's Rice Krispies on facebook is now saying to email Kellog's if anyone has questions on their entry. But has anyone gotten a response from their email yet?
 
I emailed last week, no response from them yet. I did notice the site down a few days after the email. fingers crossed we still are winners

Me too - I usually don't win when these things happen but I actually did this time, but from past experience, I'm not considering it a win until I get it in my hand, lol :crazytongue:
