I made a huge mistake and let my husband decorate the tree.. he put tinsel on it.. He knows I hate tinsel. It never stays on the tree, gets all over the house and is ugly. Im not picking it up anymore.. He put it on the tree he can go all over the house picking it up.

That is like Easter grass and packing peanuts...both of which have been forever banned in my house!! I hate them. They end up all over the place and NO ONE picks them up but me. The packing peanuts end up smashed into a million little pieces and are a PITA!!

That is like Easter grass and packing peanuts...both of which have been forever banned in my house!! I hate them. They end up all over the place and NO ONE picks them up but me. The packing peanuts end up smashed into a million little pieces and are a PITA!!

oh yeah.. don't get me going on the Easter grass.. :cussing: We don't use it and haven't for years. especially if you have carpet its such a mess. packing peanuts are another one here too. The kids would tear it up and it sticks to everything. bean bag chairs also banned.. :nono:
 
Play-doh, paint, moon sand, modeling clay ~ all out in the house! They can have them outside ~ lol!!
 
yep, yep and yep.. and... drum roll please... any kind of slime.. whether it comes in a bucket, a tube or any other cute little packaging.. :laughing:
 
A mom's nightmare for sure... I would ban markers if I could! I swear I would. I have threatened crayons. I hate the mess, but the smell makes me so sick anymore. I swear they make them with 'scent o' stink' :tongue2: I know I have talked about it before, but they smell like someone who hasn't took a bath in weeks ~ yuck!!

I have also banned Ashelyn from chewing gum in the house until she can learn to actually get it in the trash can! If these things make me a bad Mom then so be it. I just spent a fortune on new floors and the little devil isn't going to mess them up :nono:

Well, if you have a cat, at least it's pretty when they poop :laughing:

A few years ago, my daughter put a peanut butter sandwich in the VCR becuase she was a kid on tv do it :nono:
 
I had to see this, I noticed right away that the crayon cologne is followed by the cannibis flower cologne! :laughing:
 
I've found out why crayons smell so bad nowadays! This got me to wondering...turns out they took the beeswax out and replaced it with petrochemicals. THAT is the awful smell. For real, nice smelling beeswax crayons Stockmar Crayons are still made with traditional beeswax and are supposed to smell great.
They have them on Amazon. And at many school supply stores, because Stockmar crayons are safe for kids with allergies.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I knew it wasn't my imagination. At least not on this one! I knew they stink!! I can't believe they changed my crayons :cry: That is just sad!!
 
I dont remember what they smelled like. :scratch: I know the ones now stink and I just assumed they always smelled that way.
