tattooedmomma - in almost 3 years, I have yet to win a TV or trip - my point? Don't confine yourself to big ticket wins, enter for some smaller prizes too - winning on those will restore your confidence in yourself that you CAN win, and will renew your faith in sweeping!!! :wink: 8)

Rhonda - try to take the focus off your inability to win right now, and just Enter and Forget it!!! I KNOW it sounds corny, but if you focus on the positive, positive WILL come!!! 8) 8) 8)

Since I am basically new to this I will post on here until I win something. I would be thrilled with a $10.00 prize, a dvd, a book , a gift basket, or anything just to prove that this is worth it. I have entered everything I can or am elgible for but so far nothing. Is there a trick or secret to winning?!
I could use all the tips I can get and a whole lot of LUCK!!! :wink:

well enter often, some sweeps don't pick winners for month's or year's out! Alway'stry to enter sweeps that very few people know about and of coarse have fun!

I haven't won anything in a while and I am starting to get discourged. I can't enter everyday because with the amount of sweeps I have saved, about 150, its very time consuming. I try to follow all of the tricks of the trade (i.e. few one prize and big ticket, variety). I've been sweepsing about 2 years and my biggest prize to date was $100 g.c. Don't get me wrong I was thrilled, but it would be nice to win one big sweep. With only being about to enter 1-2 times a week, is it worth it? Any advice is appreciated.

it is alway's worth it because it only really takes 1 entry to win the big one and you might never know if that winner could have been you! unless you enter. so enter for what you would like to have and forget it and go to the next ,f you can't enter often just enter some :) i

Just gotta say, I had no idea the "sweeps slump" club was still going strong! I've been rather busy and mostly just reading the winners circle and the freebies forums.

I can't say that I'm in a slump right now cause I've won a few nice prizes in the last few weeks, but have you ever had this happen ... ?

Last Friday (for no apparent reason) our neighborhood didn't get mail. Then Saturday was a postal holiday. So, by Monday, I had it in my head that I would get a win in the mail - either a surprise or one of the 8 wins I'm still waiting for ...

But, no, the mailbox was stuffed full Monday morning, but, no wins ...

OK, Tuesday, then, right?

Nope, nothing ...

Wednesday?

The mail came - nothing - UPS truck passed me by ...

What do y'all think? Will something come tomorrow? I need to either get a win, or get myself over the idea that one is "just about" to come! :D

I've always heard that if your hand starts itching you're gonna get something either by delivery truck or postal. Let me know if one of your hands starts driving you crazy. Scratch on wood I was told. Gosh what I wouldn't give for a itchy hand these days!!!!!!

OK, so the mail came again - once again, nothing! I just sat down and made a list of everything I'm expecting in the mail:

12 Items I've won (ranging from a coupon to a DVD player)
3 refund checks from companies
at least 3 checks from survey sites
a product to test (toothbrush)
a Coke Sweepstakes reward item (movie date kit)
and an item we bought on Ebay!

Not to mention that 3 people owe me for Ebay items I sold, and since they haven't paid with Paypal in 5 days, I kind of figure they are sending money orders. (They never tell me, although my check-out info "begs" them to.)

I've had a few little wins in recent months, and I do mean little. But the constant wondering...."will I win? Will something good come in the mail today? Will FedEx ever pull up to my house?" is what keeps me going :lol: Good luck to everyone, let's all win something GREAT!

Ever feel like .... thier giving 500 prizes and theres 501 entries and yours is the only one not pulled? Thats been my kinda last couple months. Hmmm maybe my karma is building up for a biggie. Good luck to all!

I am getting sooo discouraged!! I need to win SOMETHING to make me cheer up :(

I have only been doing this for about 5 or 6 weeks but surely I can win something besides the luggage tag I won and a $10 lowes card. I have entered everything I am able to and so far nothing.

Someone please cheer me up!! :( :( :( :( :(

some advice would be look for local sweeps those that few people know about, you have to remember there may be 100,000 entry's in some of these sweeps . I just enter and forget and go to the next good luck :)

5 or 6 weeks isn't very long! You have probably won things that just haven't come in the mail yet. Plenty of prizes just show up with no warning at all (no email or call). If you enter a lot, you will probably win 6 - 18 times a month. Most wins will be under $25, with maybe one or two a month higher than that.
