IW's all mixed up??

Today all my instant sweeps are rearranged and repeat among the pages..missing some,too..what happened?? I clear my computer every morning so it's not me..My dailies do the same..repeat among the pages, but if I try to remove the duplicate, it removes it completely.

You should delete your Expired Sweeps. If that doesn't fix the problem, submit a ticket to the Help Desk.

I can't take credit though - Ken has posted it in the forums when other members asked, since the big site change - I just remembered, that's all.
 
It's happening again..I clean my pute every morning..clear cache and history..I even deleted my expired sweeps..all mixed up again with repeats and some missing..ARGH!! Now what??
 
Happening AGAIN!! Last 2 days..got repeats and missings and all out of order..wonder what makes this happen?? I've cleared my expired,too.and still same thing.
 
There are No Duplicates in the Database. The problem is Cache somewhere either with the ISP or Your Computer. Might try using Google Chrome. We are unable to reproduce the problem
with 3 different web browsers and using the accounts that say they are experiencing it. Deleting the expired My Sweepstakes forces the cache to update on the client.
You might also try switching to Opendns.com for DNS as some ISP's use outdated DNS servers.

The same thing happened to me, in spite of the fact that I'd deleted expired sweeps and cleared the computer cache, cookies, etc. I discussed it with Ken and he gave me some options. I didn't try Kens solutions.

I elected instead to delete the all repeats from my sweeps. You can book mark them first and enter them that way. That's not what I did, but it would work.

I did this about a week ago & haven't had any problems since, and I've added to my Instants and have had expired sweeps which I've deleted.

I'm going to try to add them back to "my sweeps" one by one, and see what happens. I haven't started this yet, but I probably will in the near future.

PS: I have 2 new expired sweeps today which I haven't yet deleted. I just checked my Instants, and there aren't any duplicates.
 
I do use Chrome and only Chrome..I Piriform clean twice a day and then clear all browsing history before logging on.I've deleted my expired sweeps also.This has just started happening in the last month for some odd reason I can't figure out.I haven't changed computers or ISP's..had any work done on anything.I wish I could figure it out, because while I have duplicates on my instants on several pages, I am also missing sweeps.I type them in the search bar and it says they are in "my sweeps", but don't show up on any of the pages.
 
We'll keep looking into this but we can't reproduce the problem even when we use your account or any of the other accounts.

Ken, can you explain why you think this is a cache problem? Why aren't the other sweep categories involved? It makes no sense to me that a cache problem would only involve the instant win category.

Also, since very few members use the Forum, we don't actually know how extensive the problem is. It's possible that there are many others who simply aren't reporting the problem.
 
i too am having this issue. it happens when i log in from home, at work or on the mobile site. expired sweeps have been deleted, cache and cookies cleared. still happening. i have tried thsi on chrome, safari and firefox. issues is happening on all 3 browsers.
 
Are any of you using book marks to navigate to My Sweepstakes are are you using the new menu system?
 
I use Bookmarks. I didn't know what the new menu system is, so I Googled it. Unless it's a program that's set up by default by Firefox I don't use it.
 
There is a menu on every page of the site. Everyone should be accessing My Sweepstakes via this menu. You may have pre-upgrade pages bookmarked.

I haven't Bookmarked any of the menu pages. Each day I click on the pages I want to access from the menu.

Bye the bye, I just checked and I've 2 new expired sweeps this AM. I just checked my instants and there aren't any duplicates, nor am I missing any sweeps. Apparently my solution to "remove from my sweeps" any duplicate sweeps is still working.
 
If the problem happens again please do the following as I have a highly technical group testing this and none of them can reproduce the problem.

While the problem page is up with duplicates using your keyboard press (Ctrl + U -> Save As)

Save the file and email it to me: [email protected]

*This will allow us to see the code behind the problem.
