Instant wins/expiring/new...

I see there are alot of instant wins expiring tommorrow. I hope we get alot of good new instant wins. I remeber last year there were alot that were so much easier to win, because they gave out so many prizes. Like home depot one, where you did the race car thing in the grocery store. And the superman one. There was a bunch. I just want to win something. It doesn't have to be big. Like a $5 gc or something.

You know I've been thinking about the gcs alot of instant wins have them. I think it would be better to give out alot of little gcs instead of one big amount. Because they would probably make more money. I know when I go to a store, and say I only have a $5 gc I usually spend alot more then that. Just a though, I could be wrong.
 
:wave: Hang in lassie Tiff hun Your just at a dry spatter and I know " it sucks". unlike my vacuum. Stuff that shouldnt SUCK does and stuff that should SUCK doesnt . Tried to drink my freeze other nite & the straw would not SUCK either. :crazytongue: Felt like me ran a tack after trying to get the ice cream/soda :cheers: into my mouth. Hunny Gunny
 
Tiff, I agree with you wholeheartedly!! I was just thinking the same thing last night - that it would be really nice to have a bunch of winners of smaller amounts, rather than just a few "medium" size prizes. Lots of people could win - even $5 or $10 gift cards...it's just exciting to win! I was hoping to win on the Truth about Trucks, Expedia & McAfee, as there were lots of prizes, but it just didn't happen.

It's funny - I often think about our lottery here in CA the same way. The scratcher cards don't seem to have too many winners. I wish they would quit giving $40 million to one person, and let lots of people win $1,000 scratchers. But that's just my opinion. I suppose if I was the one person to win $40 million, I wouldn't be complaining (although I have no idea what I'd do with that much money!)

I'm looking forward to new instants too - it's always fun to see new ones. I'm hoping they'll be easy entry ones, as so many these days seem so complex. :scratch:

Got through all the instants that expire today and nothing.

I was kinda hoping to at least receive the 3 $25 Target GCs from the hourly that ended some time ago. Would have been nice to give out a Christmas, but no luck. Ended up having to buy others...
 
Half that 40 mil would go to TAXES... :cry: and every charity from here to egypt calls you & writes you BEG letters for a LOAN or a DONATION. AND cousins you never knew you had show up at your door. I WON 60 thou from the CALI lottery, It was almost NOT worth IT. PS hun I won on a BIRTHDAY scratch off card. One of the 20.00 ones. I buy one a week so far a smal amount of 80.00 dollars besides my big win. Gunny Hunny
 
Good luck to everyone! It sure is different sweeping now than it was a couple years ago. So much more competition.

The instants for today has been completed, I didn't win anything but, dh won another hipster platter set from Rachel Ray, which is good because, it will go in a "gift" box for christmas and birthdays. (I won also)
 
I actually prefer gift cards for higher amounts. I always try to spend only what the card is for. It's hard for me to get around to bringing in a $5.00 or $10.00 gift card. If feels more like a coupon than cash. :whistle:
 
HOPEFULLY the new ones will let me win something !! haven't won much of anything except maybe a hat and a football forever on the instants. I even quit doing them for awhile because I just couldn't win anything.
I have better luck with the one time entry's it seems. I also win alot of books. (which I love because I read alot).

My favorite sweeps are the ones with a lot of prizes too ! And you are right I spend a lot more than my giftcard is worth.

Hey Mtejen girl... I'm in Cali too. The BayArea to be exact. I went and got one of those New years raffle tickets... I really thought i had a chance here being that they picked 555 winners last night.... Nope... Nada.... Nothing girl... I didn't win :cussing: how bout u? did you pick up a raffle ticket too?

I didn't even KNOW about the lottery raffle tickets, or I definitely would have played. :cussing: Oh, well, I'll try to remember next year. I'm sorry you didn't win on them....but maybe you'll win lots of stuff here this year. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you! :laughing:
 
Hey - I just noticed I'm a "gold-member" now. Last time I looked I was a silver. Well Happy New Year to me! :headbang:
