I am not liking this one at all because it sounds like a vacation time share thing and the dates are too close for any sweep to get back with you on, me I would be passing on this one as a real prize sponsor does not operate in this way.

well they say you entered a few days ago and this is coming from a vacation service which are known to send out winning notifications on prizes , the catch is what ever you won you still have to pay other things in order to get the so called prize. You can call that number to see what it is you won but the minute they talk about fee's, other costs assosiated with the prize or any other catch I would cut them off, because it would not be legit!

next important question is , do you remember entering this contest, because IF YOU HAVEN'T then it is not legit !

It's not legitimate. They may even offer you several more trips at the one-time only, low cost of............

Don't give them any information. Just tell them to send you the affidavit to sign. You'll never get one, of course.

if the guy returns my call, i'll ask for one

bummer! that would've been my first win, too :(

i'm glad i haven't called anyone up yet, acting like a looney! lol

i called and got a voice mail
i left a message.
we'll see if they call back
it was a man

the vacation was for a 3 day, 2 night
most of these type companies try to sell there packages by giving you that time frame but then you are stuck with paying the other expenses such as lodging, food because they make there money from these other vendors when setting up these so called sweeps which to me are not!

Another one to watch out for is "Dream Vacations" or "Dream World Vacations" (?). They're persistent and adamant that you legitimately won. Then they try selling the three vacations for $600+ with airfare included. Blah, blah, blah. We just kept saying over and over again "just send us the affidavit" for the trip we alledgedly won. He finally said "okay"; but, of course, we never got one.

Each month they do have a legitimate sweepstakes, but they do it to gather names and numbers to solicit this package and try to suck you into the timeshares.

don't you just hate that!!!???

what they're REALLY doing is playing on people's emotions/ hopes!!!!! not fair :( :(

but, we'll see
if he doesn't call back
i'll call back tomorrow
it's saying, i have a 10-day time frame

Stuff like that doesn't bother me. Usually, I just hang up on the second they open their mouth. There's a big difference between a legitimate notification and someone trying to push something on you by offering a too-good-to-be-true offer.

Most legitimate trips notifications/affidavits just show up by Fedex, etc. Only one trip, they called us; but that was because they were desperately trying to find an alternate. One trip notification came by email with the affidavit attached. Other than those two, they were delivered by overnight unannounced.

We always have a good time. Although, one of the New York City trips was too rushed. They took up the time having the winners learn scratching records. The out-of-towners were sent back home early Sunday. We were driven back home late afternoon. We also got there earlier than everyone else on Friday. So, we had time to do stuff. One of the street fairs just happened to be in front of our hotel in Times Square.

We still have one more New York City trip pending, but they're having a hard time coordinating it with one of their artists being there at a recording studio (part of the prize). They offered to send us to Seattle for the same thing, but we have no interest going there; and we'd have to pay for two seats for our children that we weren't expecting to pay for for this prize.

It's been almost a year. So, we're going to see if they'll just do a straight-up trip to New York City or substitute it for something else.

I'm so sorry, keep trying. I hope you win a really good prize soon. I feel bad for the people who fall for these scams.
