i won!! but didn't use roboform on the sweep--do you?

i won big--i will post it once i actually have it in my hands!! but the wins i have had were on sweeps that didn't accept roboform or had some manual entry to them...meaning i had to answer a question or two...
how many big wins have you had and you did use roboform?
i know this topic comes up off and on...but now that i have won and those sweeps didn't accept roboform, i am getting superstitious!!

Congrats on the big win. let us know what it is. Lots of people have won big items using robo. Unless the rules say, must be manually keystroked or something I dont think it is a problem. I use robo on everything that will let me and I win. There is no way I could type it all out. It would take too much time. again congrats. cant wait to hear what ya won. :thewave:

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG Blondie what is it? What did you winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn?? Don't do this to us.. LOL....

okay, okay...i know it would make me crazy if you didn't tell me! i won the motorola daily sweep--the one with danica, the race car driver...2007 honda civic sedan si limited edition!! wooohoooo!!

3mnkids---one more question about roboform....when you say "unless it specifically says something" what does that mean? occasionally i see "manual keystrokes required" but more often than not, i see this for example from the pedigree sweep:

"The use of automated software or computer programs to register or to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or to enter will be disqualified."

or this from the coleman sweep:

"Robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated entries or entries made using third party software or website to register are void."

or this from the hearstmags (cosmo, redbook, etc....)

"Mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified."

thank you for any insight you can give me....there's definitely no way we can manually enter all these!!!

that is only talking about bot type entry where the forms are filled out by a means of a method that doesnot take you to there site and is filled by a machine that does the entering for you with out you having to go to the site

CONGRATS blondie6ft AWESOME WIN!!!

In the Questions & Answers forum, I have a thread for robo:

Roboform links & Q&A

Roboform

It's a form filler, nothing more. Most sponsors get that and don't consider robo "automatic entry" - they are referring to "bots" or programs that enter FOR you.

However, some do say it is a macro, and therefore not allowed. Every person has to make the decision for themselves on whether or not to use Robo.

omg!!! I am soooo happy for you. what a great win. Are ya still jumping up and down. I would be. I remember that one. you couldnt use robo on it and it was a big pita. like lee and amy said when you see those things they arent talking about robo. I rarely see the must manualy keystroke but if I do I type everything just to be safe. They just dont want those things like I think winforme or something like that to enter for ya. they want you at the site. I think you can feel secure about using robo or autofill on things and not fear being DQ. again, Congrats on you awesome win.

How can they tell if an automated method was used in entering a sweepstake? Also, if returning log-ins are filled in by roboform, but the initial registration entry form was filled in manually, would the log-ins be DQ'd or would the manual registration support the roboform log-ins? Anyone? Thanks
Blondie6ft - Congratulations on a wonderful win! Enjoy!

A big congrats for a BIG win!!!

I use Robo on everything that it will work on and I win quite often, and usually my wins come from magazines which I always use Robo on.

I will post a picture....it's going to be a while--they said up to 4 months!! is that normal? they are installing some kind of att specialty gizmo, so that's why it's taking so long....oh well, we will get it eventually!
