I was told to have it notorized which I did and then they told me to fax the paper work so I had the bank fax it and she emailed me and said that they need her notorary # or a notorary stamp. The raised seal did not show up in the fax.In wisconsin she said they do not have a notorary #.The bank called and left a message explaining this.I emailed her and told her I would call monday.Should I just send it fedex next day?I have to have the paperwork in their hand by next friday.

I have had to have things notarized and live in WI, too....never had that kind of problem faxing, tho..... I would send it FedEx "OVERNIGHT" Mon. just to be sure it gets there by Fri., esp. if it is a big win trip.

I am going to send it fedex on monday. The lady at the bank said she did not have a notorary # but I just talked to a friend and she said they do have a number.I will also go to the bank and maybe talk to someone else.I want to try and fax it again along with the mailing.Maybe it would show up in an email.I will feel better when they have it in there hand.thanks for your reply.I should also add that I have to fedex to canada.I just got back from fedex it cost 35.00 but it will be there on monday.

i am a notary public here in california. here is what our handbook says about the embosser (which i'm assuming your notary used):

Embossers are not required at all in California. Per the handbook (v2009):

"Because of the legal requirement that the seal be photographically reproducible, the rubber stamp seal is almost universal; however, notaries public may use an embosser seal in addition to the rubber stamp."

So, looks like your document should have had a stamp also... oh and notaries, once they are commissioned, ARE given a notary #... it's called a commission #.

hope this helped.

thank you for the information.I will go to the bank and ask her for her comm # I will proborably need it then. They said they needed the stamp or her #.
