I think I really screwed up ???

I received a winning email last month regarding a GlamAlert/Nivea spa gift basket worth $80. I was sooo excited. I sent in the paperwork and have not received anything so I reviewed the email and the email indicated that I needed to have the paperwork notorized...which I did not do because I did not read the email carefully enough.:cry: I emailed the company but I have not heard anything. I hope I didn't screw up too badly because I was so excited about this win. Has anyone else dealt with something similar and if so, how did it turn out??
 
No I do not have a similar situation.
Please let us know what happens.
 
My husband forgot to send the signed notarized page in the envelope with the other pages for some J. C. Penney $500 optical package. So, we never got it. The was the one and only prize out of all the prizes they were giving away that we really didn't need, and we were just going to sell it at half price. So, it didn't bother us that we didn't get it.
 
Even when we do things 100% correctly, there are just times when the prize never shows up. I can think of a few wins over the years that failed to materialize. Some sponsors are really great about working with you when this happens, but others don't have the courtesy to reply to emails. The best you can do is to try contacting the sponsor, provide all the important details you can, and hope for the best.
 
I received a follow up email on this and they are letting me resubmit a notorized form and I can still get my prize. Yeah!! Thanks for everyone's replies :headbang:
