On another note. Please do not post member names from the other site here. They do come here. they are watching. This thread has been pretty civil so far and it should stay that way. calling members out by name will only aggravate this situation and cause them to come here and defend themselves and "their" site. If you must talk about members by name you can always go to pm or chat. :laughing: play nice everyone.

All I know is it sure seems like a weird way to run a business-the whole banning thing is totally unnecessary. If people are disruptive, just put them on nopost and let them sweep in peace. But all this punitive public flogging just leads to a lot of irritated people. I'm not irritated any more, I'm just disappointed. I almost hope some of the more "out there" rumors (I have quite a collection now :laughing

Banned members can still get the regular sweeps and read the regular forums. My take on it is that members who they felt threatened by (questioning legalities, pointing out inconsistencies, questioning their procedures, etc.) were banned. Besides what I already know of public record, it makes me think there is a true fear of having more issues come to light from the posts some banned members, myself included, made--not wanting to be put in the spotlight.

No worry...was trying to get my winzy button to work and mistakenly changed it...back to normal now. Can anyone tell me why my winzy button isn't showing up in my siggy? I see it in my profile but not in my post. Thanks!

So the way it normally works then "banned" is a form of nopost? :scratch: I can't log onto the site at all. I can't create a new account (unless I go through dialup, which would be totally useless). Nothing. I can look at the forums through Boardreader. Last time I got banned and they told me I wasn't, I could get into chat but not post. That was weird. :error:

When ya post you have to click additional options and then click show siggy for it to show up in your post. It seems like alot of extra work but once you get in the habit of it its not a big deal

OK...I see it now!! I was looking all through my account trying to find the additional options...LOL. OK...let's see if it works!!
Yeah that's the way it works for me right now I can't post but can read forums. I can't get notes in my sweeps though so I would have to had saved any thing I needed as far as codes go. I did however send the webmaster an E-Mail requesting $15 for the remaining of my premium membership lol like he's gona respond to that. He had never responded to me before when I pm'd him about the trouble I had with a person who was harrassing me.
Like I said I am not a threat to the site but if you are so insecure that you feel you have to chase your paying members away then I don't want to be there in the first place. Sweeps should be free. No one should have to pay to be treated like that. In my opinion it is like a dictatorship.
Same thing happened to me Cin. I emailed him almost 2 months ago before my banning asking for a refund, and never received a response. Every since that nutball thread he started, I felt extremely uncomfortable. There was just something about a business owner acting like a two year old having a temper tantrum. The reason I stayed was because I had paid for a year, and hated feeling like I threw my money away. I guess I should thank him for the favor.
That is the only reason I was staying. To get my moneys worth. I did post in the forums when I felt like I wanted to but since that was supposed to be one of my privledges for paying I guess I figured why not. I mean after all if you were not a paying member you could not get into certain areas. You couldn't get into chat but who would want to go into chat really lol. Awe the privledge of a paying customer. Must make the non paying members feel special.
I think I got to the point where I didn't care if I got banned and pretty much said whatever I was feeling, but I certainly NEVER, EVER called anyone a name like they are claiming for the reason for my banning. When the owner is constantly threatening bannings in threads he starts, and talking about former members, then there is something seriously wrong.

If people on that site are going to get banned for calling each other names then the place would be empty. I know I got banned the first time for making a joke that was in very bad taste. That was wrong and I cop to that. Indeed I'd still like to tell the person who was on the receiving end that I am sorry. If you're reading this I am sorry, that was wrong of me.I have no earthly idea what I got-totally blocked-for this time. If he'd like to put it up in the chewy popcorn treats thread I'd like to see it. But somebody will have to forward it to me :laughing:

The post you made here was not the only one I edited. several members used zzz names and they were removed. If you feel you have the "right" to post anyone's name you like then you can most certainly take it up with admin. have a good day.
