I feel so used!!

I entered one of my pet photos in a contest and got this email that my pet picture will be in a book they're making. Get this I can buy my copy for just 69.99. I'm pretty good at photography and every other time a publication has asked to use one of my photos they at least sent me free copies. Wow so they're just taking my picture to publish it and I get nothing! At least people get to see it but I feel so used. They better at least give me written credit for the photo in that book! It's my own fault though for not reading the fine print!

Be warned of submitting your photos to contests, hard telling what they might do with them!
 
Several years ago the same thing happened to me with a great pic of my grandchildren. I can almost bet it was the same so called contest. Over the years others have posted this same thing. Everyone that enters a photo is told that their photo is being published and you can buy the book. Before it is over that will send you information on going to the convention where the winners will be announced. Of course, this phase costs hundreds of dollars. It's all a scam. Live and Learn!
