I have my dog and he cant talk back and my boyfriend too but that is it.
I am looking for some support and my boyfriend keeps telling me I'm wasting my time with this. I know he is trying to be honest and tell me the way things really are but I am trying make a little extra money (all the money I would be making right now since I am job searching! :smt012 ) by sharing my art with the world. He doesnt think I can make any money at it.
I opened up a shop on CafePress.com. I dont know if anyone has heard about it. I dont want to be one of those people trying to sell themselves everywhere but I just dont have any friends or anyone else to look to. If someone could just look at it and help spead the word or at least give me hope that it is possible to make money doing something you love. Even if it is not a full time job....
Anyway here is the link

I LOVE the postage pals!! That is the neatest idea! I may try to get some after I get my checkbook straightened out!!

The dragons are the neatest ~ reminds me of my sister that passed away a year ago, she was a dragon queen!! Beautiful colors!!

All are pretty! You shouldn't have any trouble sell a lot of things!! Good luck!!

If you ever need someone to talk to just PM me ~ I am a good listener, and I promise to be your friend :smt002

Your stuff is really quite lovely, and I hope you're proud of what you can do - your sense of form and color really is excellent.

I've known people who have talent like yours who will buy a booth at art fairs and fantasy/gaming conventions. It would be an investment - you'd want to consider selling prints of your favorites as well as originals, and then there's the booth space - but it can pay off big in the end.

Something to think about, and don't listen to your boyfriend - Cafepress is free, for god's sake! It's not like you're wasting your money, and if you love what you're doing, it's certainly not like you're wasting your time. Good luck!!!
